Good morning to all my HQ crew 😊🐶💚
Our diary 📔 is well and truly open for 2025 and beyond 😊 and is filling up fast 💨 as there are some super organised crew members which means that there are some weeks already full which is fantastic to know 🙌 we will be getting to see all our friends back on there holidays 🏖️ for a wagtastic adventure 🏡 from 🏡comfort and plenty of space to run around 🐾 with five star service 🌟also some new members too 🐶🎉
I will also be sorting out some time off for me throughout the year and I will let you know dates very soon so you can plan too if you are a regular daycare doggy at HQ 🐶💚

This is the absolute worst part of my job 🥲losing one of my friends 🐶🤎 sadly beautiful Bella crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈 rest in peace darling girl 🤍 our thoughts are with her family at this heartbreaking 💔 time and her brother and sister 🐶🧡🐶🖤 Thank you for letting me look after Bella 💖 Here are a few of my favourite memories which I will cherish 🐶❤️xXx

NATIONAL LABRADOR DAY 💚🐾🦮🐕‍🦺🐾💚
Big shout out 📣 to Sam and max who are labradorable 🧡🖤 and all of our past HQ Labradors Smudge Benson and Darcey who was only half a labrador but that still counts ☺️
and Labrador friends 🐶 who we have lost 🤍🌈 and all the Labradors that attend HQ and make everyday so fabulous 🐶❤️

No pics of walkies today as wet and windy 💦💨 out but we defo did our steps 🐾 😊
we needed our drying coats when we got home 🏡 Three is definitely not a crowd in this case all cuddled up together 🧡🧡🧡 and even left a space for their aunty kel 🫶 and cuddles for uncle Ben as he has to go back to work tomorrow and we are gonna miss him 🥰 Christmas and new year done for another year time to take the decorations down soon 🎄🎊

It that time of year again to wish everyone a happy & healthy new year 🥳 Thank you to all that have been involved in 2024 with us 🫶 Now let’s bring 2025 on ❤️ another year with lots of wagtastic adventures with old and hopefully some new HQ crew faces 🐶🎉

We hope everyone is safe and well 🫶 after the big storm 💨 we had one massive oak tree 🌳 fall down at HQ 💚😲 but that one will keep us all warm next winter 🔥😉 and luckily today was so much calmer so we were able to go for a nice walk 🐾in the sunshine ⛅️ this morning, lovely having a day off together and making the most of it 🖤🐶🧡 we did some Christmas stuff too 🎄and yummy roast for tea Sam included 🐶🥰

Finally got around to our first visit to Launceston Dog Walking Field today great secure field with activities and shelter we had fun with friends we will definitely go again 🐶🐾🙌💚 then with the darker evenings our last walk of the day around the block we need to be safe be seen 🌟🌟 we have had lovely day off today as was treated to breakfast too 🥰

It been a busier Saturday evening than expected at HQ 💚 as we had an emergency doggie admission the dachshund’s as there mum was 🤒 so Ben collected them in the doggie mobile and brought them back to HQ and they soon settled in 🐶💚 happy to help 💕 Collies headed home this morning after a pamper brush yesterday and a stroll and breakfast this morning 🐶🐶 lovely to see you both again see you the new year 🥰

Still being able to use the garden like we have been recently and today practically being sunburnt whilst out in the summerhouse is such a joy for us all especially in November were absolutely making the most of it 🙌 ☀️ then final walk we saw the moon 🌙 🐶🐾💚

# This has just come to my attention #
So scary as this would have directly affected us as Sam uses you move for his joints luckily I saw this post today on social media just as the new tablets arrived today. I’m still using the old batch which is fine thank goodness but this is just a warning for anyone using you move tablets for their dog there are counterfeit ones going around the ones I received didn’t have the you move logo on the foil like usual I bought them from Amazon. All tablets bought direct from you move are fine and haven’t been affected and they have up to date information on their website about this
I have tried to get a refund but the company are currently refusing so I will go direct to Amazon I will also make a complaint and take this further please share this so no more dogs get harmed as the counterfeit ones have toxins in and are dangerous and sadly dogs have already passed away 🤍🌈

Tomorrow is fireworks night 🎆 just a few things that may help your friend tomorrow as human’s we find them exciting but dogs can find fireworks confusing and overwhelming as they don’t understand the noise or bright lights it can be a sensory overload for them 🐶🥰

💚 Close all the curtains and get the Tv 📺 turned 🆙 or maybe some classical music 🎶 there are radio 📻 stations that are providing special shows for the evening to drown out the fireworks 🎇
There are also some drums 🪘 taiko that are good for background noise to help on you tube

💚 Provide a safe space/ den with lots of blankets for your dog that they can retreat to if scared

💚Give praise for being calm but do not over fuss them if they would like to interact games to distract cardboard shredding treats wrapped in a towel

💚Take your dog for plenty of exercise during the day before it gets dark no worries about that here doggies will be tired if they have attended daycare 👌

💚 Try not too but if your dog does need to go out in the evening make sure its only to the garden if possible and that your dog is on a lead because if they are scared/spooked dogs can bolt and find an escape point they could easily scale a fence or gate then they could possibly injure themselves in the process

💚There are products available to help if your dog is scared like thunder shirts,
Pheromone diffusers and calming tablets from the vets

💚Lick mats, kongs, long lasting chews may help as they help dog feel tired after all the chomping 😴
