How Much For A Puppy?

Let me say a few words to you, the person who writes an email simply to ask the price. The person who also calls and is surprised states: “Well I can find a puppy cheaper elsewhere”. I am also addressing you; the person who “just wants a pet”.

Not a single dog is just a dog.

Behind every purebred dog is a BREEDER. I am using capital letters to differentiate between a breeder and a pet factory or backyard breeder as they are sometimes referred to. You know them, the people who have puppies constantly available all year type of people.
When you select and purchase from a breeder, the breeder is responsible for the health of every dog; owned as well as sold. This person will skip holidays, sleeping, laying in their own bed, and a lot of their own house space will be turned into space for their dogs. The truly passionate breeder who love what they breed, puts their whole heart into it.

A breeder will get their hands dirty, often covered in placentas or mud. Because that’s what life is all about: birth and death.

In the middle of birth and death is life. The wheel that keeps turning. A breeder will do progesterone tests, ultrasounds, x-rays, analysis, c-sections, research pedigrees, deworm, vaccinations, as well as microchipping their puppies and having them evaluated and checked by vets and specialists.

Last but my no means least, a breeder CHOOSES the family lucky enough to have one of their puppies. Yes you read that right, a true breeder chooses who they sell to.

Because it’s not “just a dog”.

We are with very sad & heavy hearts to announce that our girl, B2Bs Midnight Rider of PGC, passed away suddenly & without warning on Saturday morning. 💔
We took her to the Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory at Missouri University (Mizzou) for necropsy & are eagerly waiting for the results.

We are completely heartbroken & at such a loss.
Life is so very precious & way too short.
Please hug your furbabes extra tight for us.

RIP baby girl. ❣️🐾

She's a brindle and white little sweetheart with great food motivation and a playful spirit! She's been well socialized and has always been one of the more outgoing ones in this litter. She does have a slight bend in her tail but it was deemed cosmetic by our vet and will not hinder her life or performance at all.

PGC's "Waffles"

She's a black and white, faintly brindled Trouble "clone".
This little girl is something else! Sweet as can be, well socialized, playful but not too driven, and you can see how much she loves people on her expressive little face! She's going to be an upgraded version of her mother we think, with tighter feet and a nice round bulldog head like her fathers and a nice, tight bite. Possibly a little taller than Trouble, (21" at the withers) if she follows suit with the pups from our last litter.

Puppies in slow-mo! 😂

• The pups are 7 weeks old today! •

They’ve had such an eventful weekend! 🤩

They all got their first real bath & they each did awesome!! Same with their first nail grind!

They had their first vet visit / puppy check & got their first shots & microchipped! Our vet said they all look great & all have strong heartbeats & lungs! 💜

They also got to meet a lot of new human friends, big & small! 🤗

Everyone’s personalities are starting to shine & they keep mastering new obstacles & overcoming new challenges! We couldn’t be happier with this lil crew 😊
