Tollchesterâs Dr Pepper
January 22, 2009 - June 2, 2024
Pepper was the one that started our love for Tollers. For almost 15.5 years, she stole the hearts of everyone she met and was most definitely your friend if you had food. Pepper ran agility trials with Crystal by her side. This little fiery red head was put through a lot in her life, but she always managed to come out on top. We are thankful for her litter of puppies that brought Cookie, which then brought Aspen and now Cypress & Mabel. We will miss her being under foot and always trying to steal whatever you were eating. No food was safe from Pepper it didnât matter what. Thank you for allowing us to love you for as long as we did. Pepper Puppy, Dallas is waiting for you on the other side of the bridge. đđ
And then there were none. We cannot believe that the past 11.5 weeks have flown by so quickly. It feels like forever while you wait for their arrival but it goes so fast once they are here. We cannot wait to do a check in with our Lakes soon! But for Aspen we thank her for 14 beautiful puppies over the last three years and hope she enjoys retirement from being a mama. One last thank you goes out to all of our Forest & Lake families for allowing us to stay apart of our babies lives while you love on them daily! On that note, Aspen the lake is calling your name!

Mallery is off to her furever home in Vancouver. Her parents have been patiently waiting for her arrival over the last few years. She gets to be the queen of the house for the next few months before her little brother arrives. If youâre interested in keeping up with her adventures you can find her on instagram .nugget
Mallery was the best shopping buddy ever! Socializing is key within their 8-12 week window, so we make sure to socialize in the safest way possible! Mallery was amazing in the shopping cart while at Homes Alive Pets!
- 10 WEEKS -
And then there was one! Mallery getâs to to spend a few extra weeks with us, but that just means a few more weekly updates. She is adjusting well to being the only puppy left. She quit enjoys play time with her mum Aspen and making everyone know sheâs still around. Weâve been working on socializing this past week and will continue to do more before she goes home!
Oh Mabel, you have no idea what youâre going home to đ Mabel is heading over the bridge to Maple Ridge, but little does she know she has a brother named Tuna from our last litter waiting for her! Donât worry youâll still be seeing Mabel a lot around here as she gets ready to hit the conformation show ring this summer! If you want to keep with her shenanigans you can follow her on Instagram We cannot wait to see her strut her stuff! đ
RockânâRolley has left the building! He is off to his loving family in Burnaby. His sweet affectionate soul will be the perfect addition to the evening sing alongs and daily walks. They went back and forth on his potential name change and decided today that heâs just Rolley. We look forward to hearing all about your hikes around Burnaby Lake! đ
Phantom was our departure for today! He is off to his adventure on the North Shore. If you see a toller in a tartan rain jacket hopefully it will be him. His fur parents wanted a name that tied back to Scotland, so he will now be known as Tavish. But Phantom will be his middle name đ You can keep up with his adventures on instagram, We canât wait to see what this trio will be up to! đ
The hat trick is complete with Dutch leaving tonight! Heâs staying in Langley so we will be able to get lots of cuddles when needed! Heâs going to be his mumâs gardening buddy and hopefully one of his brothers SUP pup! Theyâre still undecided on whether he will stay Dutch or not, so we hope to know in the coming days! See you soon Dutch! đ
The second lake has taken off to Highway 1! Although this highway trip will be way shorter. Geneva is off to her new adventure in Abbotsford! She will be loved by her new pawrents, and may even have a new ginger friend that she will soon meet! Geneva will now be affectionately called Brandy, named after Brandywine Falls. đ©¶
Saying goodbye is never easy, but we know theyâre going home in the right hands! Stave was the first of our lakes to depart to his furever home. Heâll be keeping busy with his two human brothers, and his other fur siblings! If you see him around Salmon Arm make sure to stop and hi! His family decides that Stave was just who he was and theyâve chosen to keep his name! Have fun with all the lakes up there Stave! đ

Weâve been told that this is the last time we need to model đ Where has the past two months gone?! We started off our journey as little squirrels and now weâre fluffy little tollers. We cannot wait to join our furever families this coming week and hope to keep you all updated on our future adventures. Thank you for showing us all the love over the past 9 weeks. We hope to catch up soon.

Happy Motherâs Day! All mums deserve some rest, even if that means hiding in a corner against a mini fridge!

This past week we got to experience our first car ride, first time sleeping by ourselves, do some socializing and go to the vet! We werenât fans of our crates at first but theyâre growing on us! This morning we slept until 6:15! The human was sure thankful! Well we will see you for one more update before our individual departure updates! đ„č TTYL

Nothing gets better then brother sister bonding time with their gummy worm.
Who doesnât love a litter on puppies on an exam table? Everyone went to visit Dr. Janelle yesterday and has a clean bill of health! She was super impressed that we had a slumber party while everyone was getting their check ups done. đŽ

Whew this has been a busy week!! We still love going outside to play in the backyard, and especially playing in the trees. Weâve even mastered how to get around the boobytrap to keep us out of the trees⊠oops đ Over the weekend we had our last socialization weekend with our furever families before we go home with them. Everyone also found out which one of us they get to love furever! Well thatâs it for now, weâve got a busy week ahead, that human forgot to push the post button on Monday. đ€Šđ»ââïž Anywho see you next week!

Well this weeks been interesting. Weâre growing like weeds and have upped our kibble intake. We love spending time in the backyard and Phantom loves our GiGiâs tail! We also said good bye to our whelping box and play area this past week and got an upgrade! Weâre now supposed to be sleeping and eating in the thing called a crate. Donât worry though itâs HUGE!! We have also discovered that we love music and it helps us go to sleep. Our preference for now is Taylor Swiftâs The Tortured Poets Department. Hopefully we can expand our discography soon. This week we hope to work on our potty training and basic commands! Thatâs it for now!

Who knew that lunch & Taylor Swiftâs new album would be the answer to introducing crate training?
Who doesnât like to climb? These guys have started learning how to do single steps in and out of the house to the backyard. They especially love the climbing boxes made by Amazon. đ
Everyone enjoys a little nap after some much needed outdoor time.
- 5 WEEKS -
Oops sorry weâre a bit late with our weekly update. Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our favourite Langley Rivermen player as he heads home. Grayden gave the best snuggles ever. This past week weâve spent a lot of time underfoot in our home, and maybe even adventured under some couches. Who knew that was the best place for a nap. We also had another first, the backyard is the best thing ever!! Well nothing much has changed so we guess thatâs this weekâs update. Catch yâa later!

Monday night the lakes experienced their first car ride! Our destination was to a local Embers group so they could learn all about taking care of puppies! It was a great opportunity for our little ones to experience some socialization with kids.
Happy Easter! We hope the Easter Bunny was generous to everyone! The Lakes are super excited about their delivery of tripe from the Bunny! đ
