I had a fun visit to the cardiologist today! I was my usual wonderful self; they said I am the very best boy! I even laid nice and still for my echocardiogram 🫀

My heart is doing well; there has been no change. My defective valve is still performing the same as last year, and there is no increase in the thickness of my left ventricle wall. This is the best news; we know my heart will not improve, but it is not getting worse. My meds are working well, and I'm such a good boy for taking them!

The team were very excited to see which costume I was going to wear today, and Hot Dog Jim did not disappoint! They even gave me a couple of cool new toys to take home! We will be back next Halloween for my next checkup! Thank you Dr Kong, Dr Dillon, and the rest of the team - i love you all! 🎃

Today is a very special day! I turned 2 today! This is a big deal, because when i was diagnosed with heart failure at 7 months old, we were told that my prognosis was very poor. We didn't really expect to be celebrating this day!

We had a fun day with a photo shoot, new toys, special treats, and lots of extra love and snuggles! ❤

*Also a very special happy birthday to my sisters - Ellie (Pam), Bear (Meredith), and Maple (Angela) ❤❤❤

I just had my six month checkup with my cardiology team, and I did great! They are very happy with my heart, and with how strong and healthy I am! I've even put on some weight - it's all muscle 💪😺

I did so well that I don't have to go back for a whole year this time! They didn't even have to shave my fur for my echocardiogram! Thanks Dr Kong and team! 🫀

Today was a BIG adventure! Mom took me to see a cardiologist! Dr Kong and her staff are very nice, they gave me lots of cuddles and told me I'm handsome 😻 (Mom chose my outfit especially for this appointment)

The best part? My heart is doing well! My meds are helping, and Dr Kong says that at this point, the risk of complications is low ❤

This photo was taken the day I was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Dysplasia. My life will be very short. It's a scary diagnosis, but I'm going to stay positive and enjoy the time that I have!

A super bonus - foster mom and dad adopted me! I get to stay with them and my friends for the rest of my life! Also, I have this cool haircut 😹
