INTRODUCING FLYNN. We have had a very busy weekend with mountains of walking and extra long adventures with all our dogs. We thank our walking volunteers who have given up their own time to offer support. Flynn is one of many new additions to our charity from the stray kennels and comes in the shape of a Staffy cross. No surprises there! We feel possibly Beagle due to his extra large ears and hound like bark. Flynn is full of energy, very loving and eager to please. He has a very sweet and endearing nature despite his busy body high energy demeanour. He has been in his absolute element in the run and enjoying a very leafy woodland adventure. Flynn is a young dog, very happy and friendly and also accepting of other dogs. He yet again will not be for the couch potato in life but for the get up and go early hiking people. New boy Flynn is now finding his feet and getting to know us as we are him. He will make a wonderful dog for all you outdoorsy people. We are working extremely hard to reply to applications late evenings and very early morning. Our days are spent with our rescue dogs. Due to the volume of dogs in our care we ask people to please be patient. Our charity pays no staff and exists only with few volunteers. Thank you for the kind support.

WELCOME DAISY. This lovely White Stafford has a very loving nature despite yet again being a breeding machine for a human. She is new into care from the stray kennels and is a real cuddle monster with lots of energy. She is one hundred miles an hour and super eager on her walks and she is an exciteable lady. Daisy is absolutely stunning and as always she will be having lots of exercise with us to burn off that energy. She needs a dedicated and active Stafford flag flyer willing to offer some guidance. Daisy has not long since had puppies and has the underbelly to prove this. With a huge increase in animal cruelty and neglect in Yorkshire and local counties we are here again picking up the peices of a huge volume of unwanted dogs. We are working flat out with local stray kennels who are also struggling with some shocking cases of cruelty. Heartbreaking to say the least. Daisy needs a forever home and more details will be available soon to read on our website. This young lady is now vaccinated and we ensure her life of motherhood is over as she begins a new chapter.

Mungo (left) and Jerry are 3 year old brothers, they are a breed known as skinny pigs due to their almost total lack of hair. These 2 are quite shy and timid so they will need plenty of time and patience before they do feel secure and begin to behave normally in a new home. They need to be kept indoors and are sensitive to temperature as they can quickly become chilled or overheat. A room temperature between 18’c and 23’c is recommended. They will need plenty of food, especially hay, available at all times as they do burn off calories quicker than normal guinea pigs due to their lack of coat. They are best with a soft bedding rather than shavings or straw that will irritate their skin. Jerry has a misshapen foot from a past episode of bumble foot, this is being monitored by our vet and needs no treatment currently, but we can advise on it, on adoption if its still an issue. We are rehoming these as a pair and they would suit an experienced adult owner.

MEGA URGENT APPEAL!!!!

Thanks you to the people who have already donated , we still to raise the final £500 to be able to get this girl to safety this weekend.

We’ve tried everything but the only way to get this girl safe is with a specialist team , vets and experienced volunteers.

If anyone can spare a few pounds we’d be so grateful , once this girl is caught we can all sleep at night and we will post pictures once she is safe.

Wood Green’s new Cat Care Centre is going to transform the way we care for vulnerable cats like Max and Zebby, who both have FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). It can take a bit longer to find the perfect home for cats with very specific needs, and we want to ensure they’re as comfortable and content as possible while they wait for that special day. This is the ADORABLE little Frank.

Frank is a 5 month old crossbreed puppy, He's around the size of a beagle so we think he'll be around beagle size when fully grown.

Frank is a very loving , and cuddly little boy.

He suffered an injury to one of his eyes when he was a tiny pup, as a result of this he cannot see very well out of this eye. He doesn't affect him at all, and he's been giving a full check, and his eye shouldn't cause him any problems in the future.

Frank is such a gorgeous little man, and deserves his own family.

Frank is good with other dogs and would probably prefer a home with a doggy pal.

Frank is fully vaccinated and chipped, he will need to be castrated when old enough.
