This is the life!

I had a bath today and then a nap in the sun at the front door. I like to keep an eye on the neighborhood but I don't bark at anyone... not even the postman or the Amazon delivery guy... they brought my dog food today... they're good guys.

And in case you're wondering... it's a perfect 74-degrees with an ocean breeze today. I'm getting me a good tan!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile guys. But I really wanted to show you my newest photo!

When my adoption was on TV, Aunt Tia and Uncle Tony tried to teach me how to walk through a doggie door. It was scary because I didn't know if there was a monster on the other side! But I learned it was OK... my orange foxy was there waiting for me. Well orange foxy got pretty old (well... really... I tore him up... and about 10 more since then... LOL) But my mommy makes sure I always have an orange foxy to disembowel after I eat my dinner and before I go to bed. So when the big box from Chewy.com showed up I knew what was inside... more orange foxies... Yay!

During the summer, in the middle of the day... in the middle of your walk... in the middle of your neighbor's yard... sometimes ya just need a nap. But after 5 minutes I'm recharged and ready to go! Happy hump day dudes!

It's official everybody! I'm a Pit Bull! My mama stuck this Q-tip in my mouth and then sent it in the mail. And today those people said I'm officially 100% American Pit Bull Terrier. Yipppeeee! And my mama also says "Your DNA shows you're really healthy too." I don't know what DNA is... but I know I'm healthy and happy! Have a great Sunday everyone!

First day of Spring Break is over and I'm exhausted! My mommy took me on 2 walks! Almost 3 miles. So this morning I climbed into her bed and went back to sleep. So Tired.

We've got some GREAT news to share! Logan's heartworm test came back NEGATIVE!

When he was first dropped off at Villalobos Rescue Center in Jan 2019 he tested negative. We met him and decided to adopt him in October. The day before he headed to Texas his final checkup found that he was heartworm positive which can happen once the worms have time to mature. We had the choice of canceling the adoption, letting him stay at Villalobos longer while he underwent treatment, or taking our chances on a slow-kill method that has some good results but doesn't work for everyone. We decided to go with slow-kill first because it's the least traumatic, and if it didn't work we'd do the more common treatment. Since he's young, healthy and newly positive they thought he might respond well. He did! And now we don't have to go through the full heartworm treatment that requires no activity for weeks. Yipppppeeee the daily walks will continue! We needed some good news in 2020!!!!!!

Yesterday was so perfect that in the middle of our walk I just laid down in my neighbor's yard and enjoyed the breeze. Mom is always in a hurry to walk fast. But a little shade and some green grass is the best way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

This is another reason why Villalobos Rescue Center is so amazing. They are taking donations from the public and using their restaurant to cook hot meals for seniors in New Orleans and then delivering them to hungry grannies and pappies. Feeding the puppies and the people all at the same time! Love you and thank you for everything you do Villalobos!

Please help my friends! There are lots of dogs all over the country who need somewhere to stay during this sickness. Please think about bringing a dog home for a little while. I promise it will be fun and they will make you feel better!
