We are saddened to report that last week one of our own had to say good bye to his partner.

K9 Texas or as many knew him “Tex” crossed over the rainbow bridge. Ed and Tex had accomplished so much throughout the years from catching the bad to finding the good, traveling, competing in the K9 Olympics in CT, receiving countless awards, being featured in a calendar, holding certificates with the National Police Bloodhound Association and Northeast Houndsman….this is just a small glimpse into the FULL life Tex lived. Tex will forever be remembered for his love of pup cups, a scratch behind his ear but most of all Tex brought lasting friendship together. 💙

We did it again! Yesterday we picked up another puppy from KOKAR Kennels located in Washington, who was flown into Newark. She is the sister to Washington Township NJs newest addition - Red.
She will be heading to her new handler and home in the next few days……

Congratulations to PO Jared Robinson on his first find with his partner K9 Penny, at Bethel CT PD. The relationship between hound and handler is what makes the find a great success. Great job to Jared, who works endlessly to build that bond and learn the ins and outs of his partner. You 2 were made for this role, made for one another, and your community is so lucky to have such dedicated officers.

Yesterday one of our own had to say goodbye to his very first partner. Our heart are saddened for Brian and his family, Saratoga was not only your partner at work she was part of your family. She road countless hours, days, weeks and years with you, assisted on countless tracks, slept in numerous hotels for week long trainings and made a permanent mark in your household. You and your family are in our thoughts.

Zeus Canine stopped in to see all the excitement at the Putnam County, New York Country Fest.

Exposing young puppies to crowds, noises, distractions and smells helps them to socialize, desensitize, to eliminate fears and build their confidence.
All important aspects of training dogs for search and rescue.
Thank you to Assemblyman Kevin Byrne for taking the time to say hello, to our new friends at the Putnam County Health Department for puppy hugs and to all the families of Putnam County for welcoming our puppies.

Zeus Canine Training stopped by the Town Of Bethel - CT Food Truck festival last night.
It was a big reveal night for the new canine team at Bethel Police Department
Congratulations to the Bethel PD, Corporal Robinson, and K9 Penelope “Penny” on the start of this new program.

Penny was the star of the show and made a lot of new friends in the community of Bethel CT.

Zeus Canine LLC is excited to be a part of bringing this new canine team to the Bethel Police Department. We can already tell they are going to do amazing things!🐾!!
