Chevy’s exhibition from Thursday night! Such an improvement in confidence lately. He was a restart back when I got him and it’s been a little bit of a slow boat to china. His first expo was me hand walking him through the pattern and every once in awhile we have to revert back to that. It’s all about meeting them where they need to be at though, he’ll run through just fine at home but he lacks confidence in the warm up pen with other horses, in the arena by himself, behind the barrels etc. This night we walked from the trailer to the arena with tractors, equipment, people, and horses everywhere, on his back. Warmed up without panic, or laziness. Went into the main arena and completed two exhibitions without him shutting down! Charlies 6th entry yesterday! Bottom of the 4D and ran .2 off of Cas’s normal time there! Working on building confidence and keeping straight lines in slow work, as much as I love to give the tractor and crowd that extra love on the way to third😅😂 So unbelievably proud of my girl and am stoked for the Destry’s race coming up in June!

I have so much to share!! And sooooo many amazing things happening right now, thank you Jesus! This was mr studly’s (still picking the perfect name it just hasn’t come to me yet lol, name suggestions welcome!) first ride back in quite some time, I don’t have an arena at home so I’ve been hauling him with and seeing how he handles everything. I decided last night to just see how it went and… not only was this his first ride back, his first time hauling to any new arena and riding inside, under lights for the first time, but with a mare in the arena he handled it like a seasoned pro and never made a single peep! I am so excited for my boys future and hopefully I will be able to work towards getting some mares bred in the next few years. John Fame x Willies Titanic (sugar bars)

I decided last minute to enter the Noko Shootout in Hamilton TX last Saturday to get one more run between his weeknight runs before BBR and I’m so glad we did! The boy pulled a check out of 380+ entries❤️
