Happy October y’all! 🍂

This past weekend was absolutely unforgettable as we had the incredible opportunity to spend time in San Jose! It was such a joy to finally reunite with Lynna and celebrate her amazing milestone—her 2nd anniversary since opening shop in the heart of Downtown San Jose (DTSJ). The energy was contagious, and seeing her business flourish after a short period of time was so inspiring.

But the celebration didn’t stop there! We were beyond thrilled to connect with so many of you from NorCal. Your warmth, support, and friendly faces made our trip even more special. Our hearts are full, and we’re carrying all the good vibes back home. We truly can’t wait to return and do it all over again. Until next time, NorCal! 😉

Mooncakes, memories, and good company. 🌕🥮 Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!

The Mid-Autumn Festival, or Moon Festival, celebrates the full moon and harvest season. Held on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, it usually falls in late September or early October and lasts about a week. Families gather to enjoy mooncakes, admire the moon, and participate in lantern displays.

I’m heading to my destination bachelorette party on Thursday, and I’ve been feeling pretty anxious. It’s hard for me to step away from the business for too long, and I’m also unsure of what to expect! Despite the nerves, I’m excited to spend time with my favorite people and finally take a break from my busy schedule. It’ll be a chance to relax and recharge! ☀️

With that in mind, any orders placed between Thursday and Sunday will be processed starting on Monday, 9/23. I’m incredibly grateful to have this as my full-time job and for the support of amazing customers like you. Your understanding and patience mean the world to me, especially as I take a little time to recharge. Thank you all so much! 💚

Surprise! The best-kept secret of our new collection: Mooncake Box Dog Toy 👀

We’re so excited to announce our first dog toy in collaboration with . When we first discovered Squeaky and Co two years ago, we had an idea to create something special that would take us back to our childhood. Immediately, we thought about eating mooncakes with our family and enjoying time together. As pet parents, we wanted to share this same sentiment with our dogs as well.

Earlier this year, we met up with Rebecca to design a toy that’s not only fun but also mentally stimulating. The Mooncake Box Dog Toy features a velcro-sealed outer box that challenges pets to open it for hidden treats inside. Inside, there are two mooncakes: one whole mooncake with a secret side compartment for treats, and a cut mooncake with another hidden compartment in the wedge, perfect for adding your own treats.

The toys are available in three flavors—original, taro, and matcha. Each have a unique outer box design, and when put together, the outer boxes create a complete design that ties them all together.

In collaboration with , we’ve meticulously crafted these steamers using a selection of our premium treats and chews, along with goodies from other small businesses, including the adorable lantern cookies from . This time, the steamers feature beef-wrapped duck feet, shrimp tails, green-lipped mussels, pork loin, and beef organ patties. Plus, the steamer is reusable for your own human baos, xiao long baos, har gao, siu mai, and more!

Introducing the Mini Mooncake Grub Mat 🥮—a labor of love that’s been a year in the making! From design to mold manufacturing and production, we’ve put a lot of effort into bringing these mats to life.

These mats are smaller than our usual Grub Mats, measuring 5.25” in diameter and 5/8” in height. They were created in response to a request from one of our reps for a mat suited to smaller breeds. While our standard Grub Mats hold a generous amount of food, they can be too much for smaller pets. The Mini Mooncake Grub Mat is perfect for creating enrichment meals that look full but are just right for smaller pets.

For those with larger pets, this mat can still be used as a snack or packed to the brim while retaining its adorable mooncake shape.

The Mid-Autumn Festival holds special significance for me. It helps me stay connected to my cultural roots and provides a meaningful way to celebrate and honor traditions, even as a first-generation American. This new mat, inspired by the festival, is a fun and meaningful addition to my passion for pet care and nourishment.

🧧 Lunar New Year Collection ✨

We’re so excited to finally launch this collection. Lunar New Year has such a special place in my heart. From the family dim sum brunches to lion dancing in LA’s Chinatown LNY parade to receiving red envelopes, LNY has easily become one of my favorite holidays. Since LNY was made an official state holiday in California last year, I was really looking forward to this year’s celebrations. It’s so amazing to have our culture seen and celebrated by so many.

LNY is celebrated in many East Asian countries such as China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and many others!

This year, we’ve partnered with two AAPI women-owned brands & to hopefully bring to you and your pups the same joy that we feel every LNY.

This LNY collection will launch tomorrow at 12PM PST // 3PM EST along with our restock.

All orders placed from now until end of LNY will receive a red envelope containing a pair of small rabbit feet. While supplies last.
