Remember me??
Hi everyone, do you all remember me my name is Poppy and I came into Scooby-Doo’s Rescue a couple of years ago. I made a big mistake and I bit someone. I didn’t mean to, but I did. I know everyone at Scooby-Doo’s Rescue did everything they could for me, but it was impossible for me to be rehomed safely. So they found Jason. Jason took me in and I’ve been living on his farm with other dogs and farm animals and I’m absolutely loving life. I did test the waters with Jason but he won and I’m a good boy now. I just wanted to give you an update of how I’m doing, OOO my new name is buddy because I’m everybody’s buddy!! I’d like to ask for some help for Jason as he runs this farm by himself and he takes in many unwanted animals. His Amazon wish list please select an item or two and send it to him so that he can help care for all of us. #rescuedog #sanctuary #savetheunwanted #farmlife #usmarines #semperfi

Hi everyone, this is our munchkin. She came into Scooby-Doo’s Rescue at just five weeks old. She was surrendered and was screaming in pain that we had no idea what was going on. We rushed her to the emergency hospital. Found out the person who surrendered her to us had her at the emergency hospital a few days earlier, he had dropped her. She was one and a half pounds. The next day we rushed her to Eclipse in Whippany where they had a neurologist on staff. She was diagnosed with a double A luxation and hydrocephalus. Immediately after telling me the diagnosis, they stated “it wouldn’t be inhumane to euthanize at this time”
How could I? She was just five weeks old. She deserved a chance. On all kinds of medication‘s, Shes a fighter. She was doing fabulous. We started to wean her off her medication. She did really really well and then she took a turn for the worse . We took her up to guardian in Middletown, New York to see a specialist and he told us that there was nothing they could do. Dogs with hydrocephalus don’t live more than two years. Heartbroken we left and came home.
For about eight weeks and no one could touch her. She would scream and hiss and try to bite. I sat by her enclosure and would leave my hand hanging over so that she would bump into it and just feel human touch on her own. A few weeks ago , I reached in and just picked her up and she snuggled right into my neck. I brought her in to my groomer to have her shave down because she was just dirty and we couldn’t give her a bath. She’s so tiny still she’s less than 3 pounds but she eats like a mad woman. She will eat all day if I let her. Right now she’s eating fresh pet with salmon oil and canine turkey tail and she loves it. My heart breaks for her because I can’t let her walk around my house. I have large dogs and she’ll end up getting hurt. I do keep them gated off and she can walk through the dining room in the kitchen, but they told me that she’s blind and I’m worry
These dogs are all looking for homes. This is a courtesy post from us on behalf of the Wayne animal shelter please considering adopting one of these beautiful pups.
Well we are not a cat rescue but this is urgent
Buddy has been living with this family and the wife has now become severely allergic to him. They have tried everything.
Buddy is six years old and very loving. He is up-to-date on her shots and neutered. He gets along with the dogs to. All his medical records will be with him.
Can anyone take Buddy in to save him from going to a shelter?
Please text me 973-216-3635
So do y’all remember Poppy??
He was an owner surrender, who was a known biter. We took him in to try to rehabilitate him.
Well, that didn’t work. And I got bit. But that’s OK because we had to come up with another plan for him.
A sanctuary !!l
Poppy now goes by the name buddy, and has lots of new friends. He is doing extremely well. We can’t thank Jason enough for allowing Poppy a.k.a. buddy, to live out a healthy life on the open land where, every day he is loved, fed, played with as he plays well with others
Now, this is Rescue ✌️♥️🐾

Please, everyone help munchkin get better
We can’t do this without you. We were lied to about this puppy. Her owner failed her and gave up on her. She sat for three days at his house with no medical care.

WELL SO MUCH FOR TAKING A BREAK!!!
As of today, Scooby-Doo’s Rescue is on hold for any intakes.
We have three dogs
Two are heading to Training
One of them needs training funds
The other is a puppy A PUPPY!! His name is Bear and he has no interest in him. What a shame!
If people are not going to adopt dogs, we certainly cannot pull them and keep them forever. That is not what a Rescue does.
I am watching other rescues with all these designer breeds and saying they’re adopting out at $950-$1500 adoption fees. Scooby-Doo’s Rescue is not gonna compete with designer dogs from the Amish or any auction. That’s not what Rescue is!!
One thing you all need to understand. Pet stores are being abolished by law. It varies from state to state. The Amish have no way to make money so the “middle man” is turning to Rescues saying the Amish are going to kill them. They are charging the rescues anywhere from $100-$300 per dog/puppy. Once again this is not Rescue.
These very same rescues that are doing this are keeping the Amish in business. The very same people who keep dogs on chicken wire, who are never vetted, who the public will never see who are never bathed. Never held. Nails never cut eyes never cleaned. Never loved. They are livestock to these people. They are not a loving family pet. Why are these rescues keeping these people in business? This is not Rescue.
Yes, there are Pedegree dogs and designer breeds that come into rescue through Surrender‘s or through the shelters. But when you go on the rescues page and it’s one designer dog after another, you know, they didn’t pull these dogs from a shelter because it’s usually the full litter and they’re anywhere from 11 to 15 weeks old.
No Rescue should be charging over $600 for an adoption fee. I don’t care if the dogs medical bill is $10,000 that adoption fee is $600. I don’t care if the dog has $3000 in training that adoption fee is $600.
To these rescues that are doing this
