We are referred to as the thankful eight due to us being extra thankful for our fosters open door to their home welcoming us at a young age where we began our journey to overcome the many growing obstacles along the way.

🐾Cleo comes across as a shy girl at first. Understanding dog body language is important to read when shes scared and to not move to quickly when approaching her! She’s quick to give her trust & even quicker to give her love! She loves playing with her toys and making it a contest to see just how many she can carry at once! She loves cuddling up on your lap or just being near you. She does great at bath time & loves playing with her favorite humans. Once she’s comfortable with you; it’s nothing but cuddles, kisses & the happiest playful girl! Cleo has been fostered in a home with dogs & cats & gets along great with both. Cleo also does well with kids with positive supervision.

We want to keep all those intersted in adopting a puppy on the same understanding if you have messaged us about a particular puppy you will not get that puppy if you have NOT returned an applicattion for approval if someone else would like the same puppy and has returned their applicattion and gets approved they will get to adopt that puppy first! So please if you would like to have your solid pick in a puppy or be able to view the puppies and decide your pick at that time please return your applications for approval as it will be a first come first serve basis for those who comply with an applicattion! We will do updates as each puppy is adopted out so viewers can see the available puppies. As it stands today there are ONLY TWO puppies that will still be searching for forever homes that will be updated as to which ones are available over the weekend as the approved adopters choose their puppies. Hello everyone Foster mom to The Thankful Eight here asking for your help. I have always shared my passion and love for animals and have opened up my door to those animals in need not once but twice in the last year to foster litters and now my own dog pictured is in need of my help after a very tragic accident and in order to help him I need your help finding forever homes for these beautiful babies on this page to ensure I can give him the time he needs to help recover from his traumatic accident. Adoption basics for a pitbull
Some of the things an adopter should consider when looking to adopt a pitbull are of the following
1. A good contained fenced yard
2. An efficient amount of time to exercise the breed to keep them happy.
3. Ability to provide a large amount of food and bones for their high level of chewing on a regular basis for continued healthy development.
4. This dogs breed is very prone to skin allergies so adopters should be aware to be provide adequate treatment options if needed.
5. If you do not own your home then permission from the home owner stating they allow this breed as not all land lords/housing companies will allow this particular breed.
6. Some Experience with handling and training skills to ensure proper training and socialism
