Our UF team is apart of Purdue EPICS. Our project partner is Pastor Marty Henderson of Gary.

Our project is to create an aquaponics system to implement in Gary, IN to supply the city with fresh, local produce and to help combat food insecurity.

Today our team is wrapping up the semester with our transition document and reflection of the semester!

Last week we had our Final Design Review where we presented our project to a group of reviewers to receive valuable feedback and questions to help us continue our project.

Thanks so much to Andrew Coursey, Lauren Murfree, Rob Kauffmann, Ann Radke, and Dawn Barnes for sitting in as reviewers and providing us with valuable feedback!

Hello! We are the Purdue EPICS Urban Farming team. Our team is working to implement an aquaponics system in Gary, Indiana with our project Partner, Pastor Marty L Henderson.

This team has been working diligently over 4 years to create this system and we are now working on the delivery process to get the system up and running in Gary. We want to connect more with the community in Gary through this page and through team site visits.
