For educational purposes: please don’t get a dog or a puppy if you lack the time or energy to properly care for it, cannot afford the costs associated with dog ownership, travel frequently, live in a space not suitable for a dog, have a lifestyle that doesn't allow for regular exercise, or if your family is not fully committed to sharing the responsibility of caring for a pet. You are looking for a dog primarily as a status symbol or to fill a void without considering the commitment involved. Some breeds have very high energy and they need a lot of exercise and play time. If you don’t take them on walks or play with them then they will get bored and start tearing up thinhs in the house and yard. They will dig up flower beds and yards out of boredom. Some breeds are known to escape the yard or the house. They also can jump the fence or dig under the fence. Some breeds are lazy and laid back and don’t need much. You have to look at yourself and ask do I have time and money for a dog. I’m healthy enough to walk a dog every day play with a dog. If you don’t have time and money for a dog don’t get a dog. If you have health issues and having health problems don’t get a dog. Think to yourself about this what would happen if I die what would happen to that dog? Where would it go? How would he or she feel when I’m gone? You need to think about this kind of stuff because it’s a long term commitment. You don’t want to put that on a dog if you pass away that dog will be heartbroken and depressed and that’s not good for the dog. The coast of a dog is very expensive because of the vet bills, training, food, toys, beds and medicine to. Please think to yourself and ask yourself if you can take care of dog or not. There’s so many dogs that get sent to the shelters because people can’t afford it or don’t have time for it. Please think to yourself and ask those questions and if you said yeah I can’t afford it or I don’t have time for it or yeah I have health problems I shouldn’t do that to a dog. If answer one or two out the questions then you did the right thing. Please do your research before getting a dog.
