Have you ever taken two different types of food for your dog and compared them?

No, we don't just mean looking at the ingredients on different types of kibbles, but looking at the ingredients in different types of foods!📜

Fresh food (gently cooked), raw, dehydrated, freeze-dried, air-dried, wet, kibble...

Obviously, with that many different types of food, we don't blame you if you say no.

Something we want to draw your 👀 to is called basis. It's how you compare protein, fats, carbs, etc. in kibbles & fresh food.

In what is considered a high-quality kibble (let's not name names) their protein level is 23.8%
One of our fresh recipes has a protein level of 53.8%.

Omega-3 fatty acids - heard of them?

Well if you haven't that's ok, and if you have, then ah-mazing!

that many commercial dog foods claim they have omega-3s added into their food. And the omega-3s have more than likely gone rancid before you've even had the chance to pick it up off the shelf?

In our opinion, that's less than great, especially since breeds like French Bulldogs thrive on this added supplementation.
Omega-3ss are meant to:
⭐ Support brain function
⭐ Improve the skin's barrier function which means sealing in moisture (silky coat and healthy skin)
⭐ Boosts the immune system and helps with allergies
⭐ Restores moisture in their skin eliminating dry, itchy, and flaky skin!

Not all fresh foods incorporate omega-3s even though they are essential to your dog's health. Often times you need to buy it yourself and add it as a supplement to their meals - we don't think that makes sense.

We believe these beneficial supplements should be added, and they shouldn't be overly processed so that they refrain from going rancid.
