Across the globe, agriculturists are looking more and more into sustainable ways to deliver nutrients to crops to help address the climate crisis. Guess what? In a recently published study, it was determined that edible insect frass fertilizers from all the insect species had adequate concentrations and contents of macronutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium), secondary nutrients (calcium, magnesium, and sulphur), and micro-nutrients (manganese, copper, iron, zinc, boron, and sodium).
But guess what? Black soldier fly frass fertilizer (EnvoroFrass) had significantly higher N (20–130%) and K (17–193%) concentrations compared to others!
EnviroFrass contains a nutrient-dense blend of N-P-K and minerals, and is produced in the U.S. with U.S. sourced ingredients. 🌿🌾🌸

Globally, there is growing interest to recycle organic waste using insect larvae into high-quality frass fertilizer through circular economy approach. This paper presents the first comparative report on the nutrient concentrations, fertilizing indices, nutrient supply potentials and compost maturity...
