Well here it is folks, first litter of 2023 and likely the last litter until 2025. Got to focus on other things with the dogs and I’m happy with this first generation of pups produced. This litter is out of Vango and Junie. 7 pups. I have a small waiting list but there will be a few available. The available ones are $1k each. Here’s a last chance to get a Texdale Airedale pup for a good while.

Hey y’all, I understand a lot of people out there aren’t fans of hunting dogs but this is a huge part of the reason I’m breeding these dogs. Producing a dog capable of any sort of hunting is my biggest goal, along with the right temperament. Hello, been almost a year since the last litter I’ve produced. Had to get all the dogs Vet checked and health tested. Also spend the last few months hunting a lot more with the dogs but just wanted to let anyone who might be looking for a good Airedale know that we will be having 1 maybe 2 litters the last half of this year starting around Fall. I will update this page as things unfold!

CONTENT WARNING: this is a short clip of Vango and Zoey at the end of a successful racc**n hunt. I understand some of you may be a bit jarred at the sight of this but the purpose is to show the true working quality of my dogs. We hunt 100% of the time for certain a purpose & Not just letting the dogs kill something like how most people view it. Whether that’s wildlife removal, predator control, or hunting for the dogs meat, there’s always an objective. It’s not super popular but Airedales are still out there all over this country working to some capacity & these two are a prime example.

This is Junie, going on 3 years old this summer. She is a super confident & hard working dog. Stamina for days. Stays usually around 60lbs & 24in to the shoulder. Great nose, will flush out vermin and put a c**n in a tree, but her specialty is pigs. She’ll catch a nasty boar solo if necessary. Just had her first litter in January. All the pups out of that litter were big & healthy with stable temperaments. Won’t have another litter out of her for a while.

Here we have Zoey. 5 year old female out of Iowa. Shes been with us since September 2020. She’s an unrelenting hunter, but a sweetheart around the house with a surprising protective instinct. Out of all the dogs on the yard I think she may be the only one that’ll bite a stranger. Very exited about the first cross between her and Vango. They should produce very high prey driven pups with sound temperament and good size.

Vango, the main stud around here. He’s a very stable and confident dog, no dog aggression. He’s a big boy for an airedale. I keep him lean so most of the time he’s around 85lbs & he’s 27in at the shoulder. He produces big pups as well.

Vango & Junie with a 200lb hog they tracked & caught on their own. They both have multiple hogs under their belt. A good Airedale will have the nose and drive necessary to search and find a wild pig and also the grit & stamina to catch & hold the pig too!

Hello everyone, I’m Lex with Texdale Kennels & Texdale Outdoors. Some people may know me from Instagram, where I have been posting for the past few years. I will now be posting on here as well going forward. The working/hunting content of my Airedales is pretty hard core so if you are someone who doesn’t want to see that sort of thing this is a courtesy warning! We have recently (2020) started producing litters out of the dogs we have, and all the dogs in our kennel are proven high performance hunting dogs that also double as family companions. Although I will be posting hunting content from time to time the main purpose of this page is to be able to keep up with the dogs I have and to extend my reach to more people who are looking for a quality Airedale capable of working in any capacity.
