It is with great pride I present to you, pending AKC…

DC Miniature Dreams Achieving The Impossible Dream ML CA DCAT CGC TKN

Today at the Weetern Pennsylvania Dachshund Club field trial in Carrolltown, PA “Future” finished her Field Championship making her my second Dual Champion! She also ran against the Best Open Dog, Bacardi (bred by Jenn Harrman and Marie Hamaker, and owned by April and Sandy) and won Best Open, which gave her a chance to run for Absolute. While she didn’t win, I am still super proud of this girls drive and determination! She is the first daughter of DC Maggie to earn her field championship. Sutton, Lemon, Storm, and Magic are all on their way to also becoming Field Champons. I cannot wait to congratulate their owners when they achieve this great title!!!

Future worked incredibly hard today and climbed her way up to run for a 1st place finish from her initial 4th place today, but her handler (me 😞) fumbled the release and cost her the start she needed to clinch first 🤦‍♀️ Still incredibly happy with the work she put in and the effort and focus she delivered to get to 2nd in a nice group of 20 other girls.

Cleaning up and organizing today gives me the opportunity to update the girls awards wall. While I could not fit Maggie’s Absolute winning ribbons within her display area (it’s displayed in another area of the wall with everyone’s FT ribbons). Magic is building her display already with her Puppy of Achievement certificate, and looking to add more titles soon since she is going to be turning 1 in October and is already pointed in conformation.

So we did an amazing thing today… Today under judge Mrs Cindy Meyer with the Nita-Nee KC Magic won her class, and Future went 1st out a a beautiful class of Bred By bi***es then converted that placement into a Winners Bitch for a 4 point Major finishing her Championship and all from the Bred By Exibitor Class!!! I am so beyond excited to have achieved this impossible dream 😉 !!! Huge thank you to all those who have supported me in this adventure!!

She made me work for it, but so very glad to get this first one out of the way. Thanks to judge Dr Oleg N Voloshin PHD for finding her in a nice group of girls at the West Friendship, MD dog shows.

I have a friend looking for the right home for her well bred long haired male black and tan puppy for anyone interested! Reach out quickly!! He is an absolute doll and so adorable!!

**Editing to add…. This is a puppy, his breeder is who is looking for the right home. Parents are Champions and Field Champions. He is @13 weeks old had 2 of his puppy series vaccinations and is ready to go now. I am just helping her out since we happen to be at an event together currently and had the chance to meet and play with him.

We Got Mail!! Ella, Coco and Future have officially added a new bit of the alphabet to the end of their names 😆 way to go girls!

This is a title for lure coursing which they achieved by doing 3 runs of 300yds chasing and engaging with the lure (in this case a white plastic baggie). I’ve posted previously the videos of them doing this if you would like to look back at previous posts.

Coco and the puppy think she’s the new milk nanny 🤦‍♀️

I think she’s saying “Why hasn’t anyone wanted to take me home?” ☹️🥹 She is looking for a home to call her own and would do best with friends and an active home. If you are looking and think she will be a great fit, reach out so we can talk.

While we didn’t get any points added to anyone this weekend at the Celtic Classic in York, PA, we did have an awesome time with friends and so many dogs! The dogs did great, and I’m super proud of Lola who was showing for her very first time! Lola is a Maggie daughter owned and loved by Sharon. Future was awarded second place in the Puppy Sweepstakes today and did fabulous each time she was in the ring! Maggie may not have gotten any points this weekend but she placed respectfully against some very nice girls in her class entry. We also won some great prizes for both me and the dogs in the raffle supporting the clubs running the specialties! Congratulations to all the winners and to the dogs who earned their Championships this weekend!

Milk wagon pulled into the station!! Belly up everyone! 4 Weeks old now! They have found their voices! Especially Miss Daisy, who likes to tell me her thoughts on the missing milk wagon 🤨 🥛

First snow for Future and her last remaining sister. Who says dachshunds don’t like rain, or snow??? These guys love it!

Everyone has passed their inspections! Ready to start going 🏡 !!! 🏀 🏀 all present! ❤️ all healthy! 🦷 great! 👁 great! Lungs all work! 😂 💯 healthy babies!
