Were off to pur first temperament evaluations! Can't believe these babies are 7 weeks and will be leaving us in a few short weeks but SO excited for their future families!!

Rumorhazit Kennels is happy to confirm the Flynn and Pearl litter due late this month.
We only have a limited amount of spaces on this litter and expect to produce Service dog prospect types from this pairing so would love to have a few prospect homes for this litter.
Litter will be raised in Alaska but we are super great with transport and helping make puppies travel super easy. We have puppies all over and they don’t suffer for the trips!
Parents tested beyond CHIC, listed on the website and both parents are or have been working SD and held up to the tasks and public access long term.
Stud is producing AMAZING working ethic and awesome puppies. We could not be more proud. Has also produced BIS and RBIS offspring, nice conformation offspring and just some smart well rounded companions too!
Expect possible Silver, White, and Brown tones in solid.

Rumorhazit He’s Dancing in the Ashes of the Past CGC TKN “Castor” had a real hard come out to showing this last weekend.
Anyone who saw him Friday was pretty sure that between the rain and not having mom, it was a bad day in the ring. Just making it around the ring was hard. Everything was a lot.
Each and every day we came back out a little better and a little stronger.

I’m really making this post because I hear all the time people act like it’s always “my dog was a natural” or how easy it was and the reality, it’s not always. Sometimes it’s hard or you have to go slow or we just have a rough start, and I’m not new and have a nice team behind us.

You too might have a rough start but like Castor, you can do it. You just need work and love and patience.

Keep it up!

Even Castor was able to wrangle some ribbons and a RWD for the weekend and when he learns what it’s all about and becomes more comfortable it will be even better!

This last weekend Rumorhazit Stop Actin BrandNew “Paul” came out at his first show with Meghan Bertchie at the helm in what was HER first time showing.
When I tell you this girl is fearless man, choosing to head out and wing it at an AKC show, I’m so proud just to know people that awesome.
Paul and she got AMAZING feedback and even picked up an awesome take home ribbon!
Can’t say enough great things about this team! They are going to be fierce when they hit their stride next season!

Rumorhazit’s Kissed By Starlight CGC TKN definitely came out this past weekend in style! Maybe she’s born with it? Maybe it’s Madison Metz handling her so well all we can see is that stunning face and legs for days!

Either way, once Zariah works out what showing is to her and how to control the zoomies feature she’s going to be a force!

She might have been Chosen as Best Bred By puppy in her breed today but the rest of the day with her has been what’s priceless. Way to go Trauma, Thank you Judge Ms. Porpora for the amazing experience and being a GEM!

Rumorhazit and its MyTyme sister are well aware of the Abuse perpetrated by Olivia Graue against Disco.
While this is News and tea in the dogbook it’s been something we have been walking through along with the public mud slinging of “Disco was returned for being poorly bred and not up to SD work” etc.

The heart of the matter here is Disco. An amazing Bright and loved dog from the moment he entered this world. He continues to be loved and supported by all of us including the woman who brought him into the world in her hands Kim Huling, who never for a second stopped believing in him and we have been blessed to add to his world his love of his life, co owner Jessica who’s helped him get back to becoming who he was always meant to be.
We did recently post a brag/ update on him and I hope it helps bring some of you who have witnessed what he went through in a small part, peace and relief.
He is loved and will always be cared for. Immensely.

Well, I failed to get a photo of today's wins and ribbons. 🤦‍♀️ So enjoy this candid of Roger and his puppy/litter bandana that I took yesterday when he finished his UKC Conformation Champion. 🥰

Today was great! Roger went Best of Breed in both shows and brought home a 🩵 Group 1 🩵 under Judge Brenda Landers and a ❤️ Group 2 ❤️ under Judge Jennifer Landers. This earned him a leg towards his GRAND! We struck out in the Best in Show Ring but I was a wonderful line up with lots of nice dogs and he got a serious look right up to the end. 🩵 Well shown all!

Big shout out to our Samoyed Friends for letting us crash at their place and groom and show along side them! It was so fun to get to be in the same ring with you!

This weekend the 🌽 UKC Iowa Kennel Club 🌽 is hosting their summer show in Decorah, Iowa. Roger and I were here anyway doing family things so we thought we'd enter and see what happens! Low and behold, ✨ Best of Breed ✨ in both shows and a 🔥 Group 3 🔥 under Judge Polly Drake Jones and a 🔥 Group 4 🔥 under Judge Karen Hynek in a HUGE Gun Dog Group! Well Shown All! 👏

Syrup is looking for a co own show home that is serious about getting involved in show and hopefully obedience/sports.

Syrup KNOWS he looks good and definitely expects you to as well. We would love to see him start someone off on the right path or help reinvigorate someone’s passion for the breed and showing.

Toast is going to be staying until mid June to play catch up and do some further work and evaluations. We would like to line up a pet home for him when he’s ready to head home. He’s an amazing cuddly food motivated kid who is super connected to people and was bottle raised.

Satin is looking for a new place to call hers still and it’s not because she’s not amazing. It’s because she hasn’t found the perfect spot yet!

Evaluator notes included:

“Satin took time to warm up and wanted games to be puzzled out to her and demonstrated. Was able and willing to participate when these games were “understood”
Was overly mouthy for food and didn’t like being elevated without feet touching grounded surface. Was able to lure well and was pleasant to interact with over all. Bright puppy. Alert and focused. Had trouble with the barrier and seemed to have some trouble with settling or self entertaining when she was left alone without direction. Over all shapes well and guidance goes a long way. Would do well in a home looking for a “Velcro “ style dog. Bonded, this would make an excellent choice for a good number of activities.”

Mojito has been super special to us here and it’s going to be so hard letting her go. She’s super food motivated and sweet but also a little sassy. She likes to make you work for it but also, don’t leave her out.

Evaluator blurb:

“Mojito was not a very ambitious puppy. Did not push to re play or re explore and was very forgiving about being “wronged”. Lured and shaped well. Food turned off reasoning part of the brain. Single minded for it and hyper focused. Was interested in learning about retrieving but not willing to go through the steps to the whole game.”

Spice absolutely lives up to his name.
While he is an absolute love and totally committed to being with people, he also never stops moving.

We would love to find a sport home for him or a highly active pet home.

From his evaluation day:

“Spice was, well Spice is a good name but honestly he was pretty fun. Real fan favorite for the sports trainers and was super jovial.
Never stopped moving.
Was not willing to settle and had no “too far”
Very in your face. Scaled the barrier before trainer removal and then scaled it back.
Fearless.
Lots of people focus.”

Meet red collar puppy who we call Ham!
Ham is already working on things like Sit and is a thinker. He likes to work out the best way not just jump in.

An evaluator had to say this about him:

“So, Ham is very much so a guy who likes to take a second to catch his breath and assess things. He’s not a rush in before you take stock. He’s a look, assess, achieve. He was absolutely able to go into new areas and situations and after getting his bearings was cool confident and willing to work.
Very food motivated and lured into all of the shaped “tasks” we asked for right up to the escape to follow challenge. He met the barrier and stopped. No interest in challenging and obtaining “freedom”.
Was very quick to recover from task to task and moved on from failure well.”

While you might like your Coffee Black, we like ours Sweet!

Meet Coffee! He’s from the BNB litter and is currently house hunting!

Here’s what his evaluators said about him:

“Coffee is a quick on his feet co dependent kinda kid. Likely to want his people to be very involved. Seems to have some immaturity still clinging and could benefit from holding to re test after the fear period ends to get a more accurate picture.
Uninterested in games and instead focused on present handler. 5/5 food motivation. Barrier was instantly scaled when handler removed. Fast learner.”

He would be thrilled to find his partner in crime and be able to become a better best friend and has decided to hang back and wait a little extra time to see how he really feels in the next evaluations or look for a pet home!

Stellan is a gorgeous 17 1/2", 30 pound, red hidden phantom with a chill temperment. He will start his conformation career this year. We are excited for him and his owner, Lyndsi!!!
Dezi is a beautiful, spunky, 16 1/2", 25 pound, black n tan phantom, who loves everything and everybody. She is taking the summer off to have a litter, then will finish her INTL Title (only needs 1 win) and her BCAT title. For more info, please PM. ❤️❤️
