It si truly difficult for someone to commit for even a short time but what we are doing is slowly tapping on the right people to restore humanity in us, to slowly establish the reality that we humans are guardians of the furry friends and to continuously spread kindness hoping one day some may wake up and see that helping our furry friends in need doesn't always have to be a paid favor, it must be provided because we can. Free because we are also free to help if we want to, in any best possible way we can. If finance is the problem then maybe rescue groups can step in, if its beyond and above our means. There are so many ways to help, please foster or help someone who is in need of help today- FOR FREE

Let's make Sunday a Campaign & Advocacy Day! Everyone can post anything about what they are passionate about that gives a positive impact towards others and to the community, here or abroad. Let's use this platform to spread positive vibes and act of kindness towards others and to the animal welfare. One act of kindness at a time will have a ripple effect to others.

5 months of the Pandemic and no one is sure of what will happen months prior to today. Still even tomorrow is not sure for most of us, but here we are, trying to survive it all. Everything has been topsy turvy. Those who are still here in UAE, stay strong and keep moving forward, I know it has not been easy, but know that this is universal..so take heart and keep going. While we are at it, try to remember the sprinklers of sunshines to us- our pets..who solely depend on us, we are their life. Whatever situation we are all in, let's do our best to spread kindness & humanity, extend it to our pets and the ones on the streets and homeless. We are there for them for a good reason. ONE SMALL ACT of KINDNESS is enough to start a ripple effect. Let's make it happen.

Fostered them when they were merely almost 2 months! How cute splash of sunshine every single day! Fostering isn't easy...but the thought that they are safe and loved..aww! Priceless!

Welcome to FREE FOC Temporary Pet Sitting & Fostering DOs and DONTs
This group is created to provide temporary pet sitting or temporary fostering assistance to pet owners who are going for short vacation or for any emergency FREE of CHARGE and to pay it forward by providing other members with the same assistance for free.
To qualify for this, it will be a good start to provide the temporary pet sitting or temporary fostering assistance for others prior to availing of this service. The person who received your help can vouch for you in this page when the time comes that you needed the same help.
If we can make this happen, there will be less people who will abandon their pets as there is another option wherein they can buy time to reunite their pets with them. It is also a good exposures for future pet owners on being educated on the responsibilities and needs of a pet and for others, maybe a chance to encourage them to adopt based on their experience with these lovely furry friends.
This is currently concentrated in United Arab Emirates , mainly on Abu Dhabi.

Please follow the rules of acquiring the FREE of CHARGE assistance of temporary fostering or pet sitting by FIRST offering the free service to other members. The last person you provided the assistance should vouch that you provided temporary fostering or pet sitting. ( in case of multiple services, any ONE of the LAST 3 members you provided this free assistance should vouch for you. This is to ensure that there is assurance that the temporary “pet sitter/fosterer” is consistent in providing quality assistance to others.
Exchange of views and inquiries are encouraged related to the group ‘s purpose such as pet care, fostering, supplies and any other questions which may help both the owner and the FOC temporary fosterer/sitter.
It is mandatory to provide Emirates ID from both the Owner and temporary FOC sitter/fosterer, and phone number, company name and or place of work where both parties are working. These information while provided, solely for the use of each party to verify whenever necessary that the pet will not be abandoned for good, and or in other cases, pet getting stolen. We have to accept the fact that these things do happen, so for the sake of the temporary sitters/fosterers, and owners, these information should be provided to each party engaging to these FOC services. These are not to be shared to others, unless necessary(when something goes wrong).
Availment of this Free of Charge temporary pet sitting /fostering is at your own risk. Although we all aspire that these services will go smoothly, there will be a few glitch here and there, so let us try to be complete and open in providing information to each concerned parties.

FREE OF CHARGE Pet adoption post can be entertained every FRIDAY and SATURDAY only provided that the pet being offered for adoption will be free of any cost with the condition that the pet will be registered and microchipped (provisioned to travel with owner in future) in the first 3 months from adoption date.
