Contrary to what others say that native dogs in our country has no breed, but in fact, they do!

They are bred as Filipino dogs, also known as Asong Pinoy or Aspins.

You might wonder what's special about Aspins? Well, cast your eyes below and take the time to read some facts about them.

But, did you know? Aspins are still the most common victims of animal cruelty in our country. Cruelty in any form has its own consequences. Take another look below.

ATTENTION FRIENDS, FAMILY AND FELLOW FILIPINOS!

If you have a pet ASPIN and PUSPIN, you're just the person we are looking for! Pig owners are also welcome to join!

Senior Veterinary Students of Cavite State University will be holding a Photo contest during their webinar entitled:

“STRIVE TO SURVIVE: A free webinar about: ASF Biosecurity, Philippine Eagle Conservation and Love and Compassion for stray dogs and cats” on June 4, 2022 at 9 in the morning.

Three (3) Lucky Winners will be chosen with one (1) winner of the most liked picture and two (2) winners with the most touching story will win our cash prize!

Here’s the mechanics on how to join:

1.Must like our page.

2.In this post, attach in the comment section a photo of your pet (accessories and clothing are highly encouraged) with a short caption that tells an inspiring story/experience with them.

3.Use the hashtag


Entries will only be accepted from June 1 until June 3 (6pm)
