2-3rd of March BH/VT and IGP trials 🏆
I would like to thank the Cyprus Kennel Club and the Kelia Club for organizing this beautiful event and their generous sponsor Winner Plus - Andreas Chimonis for sponsoring the event.

Among 17 dogs in the BH/VT two of our clients managed to win the first and second place with minimal difference in the score and all 3 of our clients managed to successfully pass the BH/VT exam!
Katerina Kolokasi managed to win the first place with her dog Thor an American Staffordshire Terrier
Pavlos Georgiou with his dog Conor an American Staffordshire Terrier, managed to win the second place!
Elpida Aresti managed to successfully pass the exam with her dog Dorian, a Dobermann!
We are very glad with your results and you deserve huge congratulations !

I would of course like to congratulate all of the participants of the exams!

Nova Goritsa FCI IGP World Championships 2023!!

First time in history of Cyprus 🇨🇾 me and Stavros and with the help of the  Cyprus Kennel Club we were able to create the first National Team of Cyprus and to participate as a team to the World Championship!

Without the help of our families, team such us .k9 and our sponsors we wouldn't be able to be there and for that we owe them everything. It was a very difficult journey from the beginning until the end.

18 days before the champioship, we traveled with our dogs to Budapest to meet our team leader Jozsef Pityinger  whom he helped us a lot with everything.  From the first day until the day of the trials, we were training for tracking day and night. The fields in Cyprus are much different than the fields that we would be participating for the champioship and we knew that before entering the competition. In our small country, all our fields are soil and if we do find some grass it is nothing like the grass in the championship ,therefore our dogs should learn something completely new for them in just 18 days. And even thought they did manage to understand how to track in those fields, we didn't have any high expectations!
Long story short, both of pur dogs fail the tracking during some difficulties! We are not surprised nor sad! Our dogs did the best they could with the information that we provided them!
Everything went unexpectedly on the trials but there is nothing to feel sorry or sad about.  We both feel blessed to have that opportunity to compete with some big names in the field, to meet new people and to just experience this opportunity that was given to us.
We are hoping that our little island will do better next time in the Championship and if it is up to us, then we will give the best of ourselves to make our country proud!
Thank you everyone who believed in me and I will work 100 times more to make you all proud!

Finally one more competition came to an end.
2nd qualifications of Cyprus 🇨🇾 for the FCI World Championship with judge mr Jozsef Pityinger and helper Giorgos Kritselas our dogs had the following results!

We are very pleased with the results. All of these wouldn't happen without the help of our dear friend and very professional helper George Kritselas and of course without the Cyprus Kennel Club for making this event happen. It will be an honor for us to compete in the world championships as the first national team of Cyprus and we will do our best to make our country and club very proud. We are very honoured to have as a team leader Jozsef . A well known judge and sportman. We have no doubt that he will be a huge help for us and we truly appreciate everything he is doing for us! Also i would like to thank our mentors Aleksey Sokolov , Lars Lentz , Ingar Andersen for been next to us in our dream and make this dream happen. Moreover, very big thank to our families ,friends, teammate for supporting us.
