I hope you are all keeping well.
There are many people who are right handed and many of us that are left handed. It’s the same with us. However, it is researched that
most parrots prefer using left foot to their right. A research project pointed out that majority of parrots (out of 320 parrots in a study) use their left hemisphere of their brain (47% prefer to use their left foot and left side of their body)
33% preferred to use their right foot and right side of their body, the rest were ambidextrous (no preference).
I am using predominantly my right foot most of the time. If I have something to hold, I take it into my right foot (most of the time). I also step up on mums hand with my right foot first and even prefer to perch on mums right shoulder.

Chiquito - he lost his life long mate earlier this year so connection with someone is important to him. He is a sweetheart who loves to perch up on your head or play with your toes. He's a lover of treats and songs.

Estrella - She is young and tends to follow chiquitos lead. She is quite bashful and skittish but with time and patience, can open up to you. She has a distinct and beautiful chirp. She loves to nip on plants and paper and is a lover of bird baths.

These two precious darlings are fully flighted and very playful. They love to take baths and spend their days flying around and exploring their environments. You can either find them on the floor walking around or perched up on their favorite lamp, snuggling.
