On my way to a work event this morning but wanted to post this video because I am beaming with pride! June and 10 week old Trez (Envious Begin Again) practicing scentwork. She has had him for 2 weeks and he is already alerting like a little champ. This video seriously made me tear up! Taking right after his grandpa and mama! I am so happy for this puppy. He has won the lottery to have an owner like June. Love you, Trez! ❤

Leisel is 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant. (7 weeks on Tuesday). We will be hopefully having puppies the end of late next week. Time is flying! Her x-ray for a puppy count is this coming Saturday (the 26th)! Anyone want to take a guess on how many pups there will be?!

Leisel will be 5 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Here she is loving what I call “tummy time” lol. I hang out with them on the couch and gently rub their tummies. I am thinking maybe next week we will start being able to feel babies move. She is full of puppies lol-her poor stomach is rock solid. We have about 3.5 weeks to go and I expect her to approach whale status soon 😂 Good girl, wheezy woo. Can’t wait to meet your babies!

3 perfect sets of eyes for the girls today. We love the Animal Eye Institute in Ohio.The staff there is wonderful! Current eye certifications by a veterinary ophthalmologist are required for CHIC numbers for both Borzoi and Silken Windhounds.

Our beautiful Varus-CH. Envious As We Fall was entered today as his first weekend as a special. He won the breed today in Indiana and went on to win a Group 2 under breeder judge Dr.Ronald Spritzer. He is celebrating with his Daddy.

We welcomed 6 little pumpkins yesterday. 4 boys-3 red and white spotted and one gold and white spotted,, and 2 girls-1 red and white spotted and 1 black tri spotted girl. Puppies are happy and healthy.

I am thrilled to announce that our Friday the 13th engagement was a success! My beautiful Ahri (CH. KatZ Orb of Deception) is expecting puppies out of the wonderful Arlo (DC, FC, GCH Teine Runtuff Set the World on Fire, SC) We saw 5-6 puppies on the ultrasound and they are due mid October. Thank you to Arlo's fabulous owner Adrianne Hopple and to his wonderful breeders Anne Midgarden and Kristen Suhrenbrock. This litter's close pedigree combines some of my all time favorites in the Borzoi breed. Rainbow and Remy from Anne, along with Rider from Anne and Richard Mintchell, Clare, Hazer, and Paisley from Kitty Sawyer, and Artemus from Jon and Jenni Steele. Thank you all so much to the breeders who produced these fantastic dogs. To say I am thrilled is an understatement!

I was expecting Christmas puppies but someone had to come into season super early, so now we are expecting Halloween babies. I think a Nightmare Before Christmas theme is appropriate, don't you? :-D ;-)
