Pet aquamation is a water-based alternative to conventional flame-based pet cremation. Once your pet's body has been received into our care, we will gently place their body into an alkali bath consisting of natural salts that will help their body breakdown if they were buried instead of cremated. The result is a similar ash received from flame-based cremation; however, you will receive about 20% more remains on average. The process also results in a 95% reduction in energy use and no release of toxic smoke or greenhouse gasses.
