I'm really excited 😃
Last week I started training Grimm for dock diving. He's been swimming off & on this year but had not jumped in yet. His swim level is a beginner. Immediately he would walk down the pool stairs with me and swim around which is a great start!
Day 1 he swam & was comfortable in the pool. I then brought out Dublin to show him what I needed him to eventually do & you'll see how he starts to jump in after Dublin! He loved Dublin and couldn't get enough of her. She's all work at the pool and I knew it was a smart match.
Day 2 - 3 I switched up the toy to a ball as he was more excited about the ball. I had him do several drills just on the stairs to get the ball. Having fun is the goal 😊
Yesterday he wanted a swim first & then would jump for me! He had his best jump yet!! He also started to jump for the Wubba again. 😍 He doesn't have a lot of toy drive at the pool and the ball is really too small for competition so we'll see if he can stay on the Wubba.
Today his training journey takes him to CK9 & he's going to be on the dock! I'm very proud of him so far and I am hopeful for today 🥰

We've been busy with lots of family & friends but tomorrow we're back to our old routine 💖 our pawrents even let us stay overnight at a dog hotel!! They had no vacancy that night 😊 turns out you can stay up as late as you want 😉
