POTTY TRAINING AND CRATE TRAINING❗️❗️

Here is some helpful information as puppies start going to their new homes today! 

at 3-4 weeks of age we introduce the litter box. This training helps the process continue on of potty training when you pick your puppy up, is also teaches them where they can and can’t go potty. Many families will often continue to use the litter box for times that they are away for extended hours.

We highly suggest upon your puppies arrival that you start working on the crate training with your puppy, as this is a safe place for them if you aren’t able to supervise constantly and avoiding other issues! ☺️ there are MANY videos out there (thank you Google 😆) to suggest and help, and I am here as well! (Always ask away!)
Crate training is a great options for your puppy to release energy and avoid accidents if you aren’t able to be present. At 8 weeks of age a puppy can not hold their bladder for multiple hours, as it’s size is extremely small, so having this option really helps with avoiding bad habits and giving them the option to potty throughout the day.

I know that we aren’t all present throughout the day, so giving them a exercise pen or a small area with bedding/their safe place, and a area for the litter box in the pen will really benefit them. I know this process isn’t easy and sometimes no fun, but we strive to do our best to help this process be a easy transition! What’s cute as a puppy isn’t cute as a adult 😉 this will save you your sanity and really help with control of your pup! 👇🏼 here are some items I suggest!
