Hudson trying out the HV (high velocity) dryer for the first time - no concerns at all with the sound. I always thought these dryers were very noisy and that's one of the main reasons I avoided them. I am so happy to have found a local one (CT supplier) which is relatively quiet but very effective. So great to see fluffy Golden Retrievers and Labradors today.

BREAKING NEWS - first day today with my new HV Dryer, which stands for high velocity - actually it has 2 blower speed settings, lower for around the face and stronger for belly and feet. It also has a heat on/off switch, so you can blow on hot days without adding heat but add heat for chilly days and upper Highway dogs - awesome first test on Angel this morning, I am really happy and so will your dogs be. Listen with sound ON - its no louder than a ladies hair dryer and that's really good news.

Little Che man, a King Charles Cavalier Spanie,l is always keen to join in the fun. The poor little guy has recently gone completely deaf in both ears and Mike & Freyr are waiting 7 weeks now after some treatment to his ears to see if his hearing returns. Please pray for his hearing to be fully restored.

Two weeks ago, Tuesday morning, I was in theater, so very thankful for the speedy recovery so far, and especially no more pain from the osteo arthritis. I am seeing the surgeon and physio on Thursday and will have a clearer idea then when I can get back to seeing my dogs but I imagine at least another 2 weeks... Will keep you posted.

Seriously though, I know it will take some time to get the muscles that encapsulate and control the hip joint up to strength so I can manage my big Rotties, Retrievers, Great Danes, German Shepherds as I can't risk one of them pulling me over.
