As Eip-Ekopakt is one of the finalists for the 🏆 "Rural Inspiration Awards 2022", Kmetijsko gozdarska zbornica Slovenije & Trace Labs - Core developers of OriginTrail participated in a debate on the importance of European funds in the development of project ideas 💡.

👉Today Eip-Ekopakt team began with the dissemination activities. We gathered at Kmetijska zadruga Šaleška dolina, where partners got their first glimpse of the application & the updated website. 🤳 We had an amazing day, full of new insights and knowledge. 🙋

It minimizes human impact on the environment and operates as naturally as possible. labels assure that production respects nature, food has been produced in a sustainable way, growers are more controlled, GMOs are not allowed & strict restrictions on use of fertilizers🌾 In the Eip-EkopaktEkopakt project only organically produced beef will be included.
🤔Do you know what is? It is the ability to determine where an individual unit is located and what happened to it along the🔗supply chain. In order to implement , it is necessary to provide links between the physical flow & the flow of data relating to them. Eip-Ekopakt sustainable & scalable system for organic beef will be based on Trace Labs - Core developers of OriginTrail OriginTrail 💪
Kmetijsko gozdarska zbornica Slovenije & Trace Labs - Core developers of OriginTrail presented Eip-Ekopakt at the Agri-Horti Digitalisation event🌻 organized by SDBP - Slovene Dutch Business Platform. The Kmetijska zadruga Rače focuses on ensuring the , and of the 🥩 meat products they produce, as well as traditional approaches to processing. Their entire production is , for which they also have all the relevant certificates.
The Kmetijska zadruga Laško connects the local environment in harmony with the 🍃 nature of farms, for which & production is a way of life. In this project, Kmetijska zadruga Laško takes care of the processing of organic beef.🐄
Agricultural holdings (Stanislav Volk, Franc Žitko, Andrej Ramšak, Jožef Ott, Vlado Viltužnik, Tomaž Modrej) 🌾 will contribute to the system data on the breeding of their animals entering the meat processing chain and indicators of use of natural resources, typical for breeding. The entered data will help to develop the model on which the Eip Ekopakt system will be based. 🚜

Employees of 🌻 KGZS - Zavod CE will present the designed model to farms, offer assistance in collecting on farms and selecting indicators. Their main mission is to transfer knowledge into practice & thus contribute to the well-being of 🚜 farms in the area of operation of KGZS - Zavod CE.
🚜 The Kmetijska zadruga Šaleška dolina unites & connects producers of the highest quality local food in order to provide customers with proven & award-winning delicacies. Under the brand, it takes care of the production & marketing of trustworthy Slovenian beef of high nutritional value🥩.

🌾Kmetijsko gozdarska zbornica Slovenije - Lead Partner is responsible for the management & implementation of the project in accordance with the tender requirements💡Their role is to represent the interests of the public, industry & members of KGZS to ensure the development of , rural areas & safe food for the entire population.
🧑💻Trace Labs - Core developers of OriginTrail , has been developing solutions for supply chains & is dedicated to developing decentralized solutions based on the open source, 🔗decentralized OriginTrail data exchange protocol. With their knowledge & technologies, they will improve the system & thus restore consumer confidence in organic beef.
🏫The Faculty of Agriculture & Biosystem Sciences of the Univerza v Mariboru participated in this project in the preparation and planning of 🌿 indicators for measuring the impact of the project. At the participating farms, was measured. These measurements will make it easier to compare the diversity between & conventional farms.
