is just a yearling but he is already as big as one of our three year olds. If he is still with us this winter, Todd will start him as a two year old. As such, for the past year I have been enjoying doing the ground work with him. Today was the first time I put a saddle on him and he was a perfect.

Full disclosure: From the golf course to the barn… no time to change! And yes, this moment was captured only because I asked Todder to take the picture 😂

Last August, we purchased this extremely well bred mare, Playgunsshine, in foal to Snipers Smoking Gun. Her gorgeous, super healthy, friendly, and athletic, “Got all the Guns” filly was born 4 days ago. The new owners are thrilled!

While we are really impressed with this filly, we can’t wait to finally see what Playgunsshine crossed with our Hank (MRI Sparked N Blue) produce in spring 2025!

Our 2024 foals were either under contract in utero or placed on a gender specific “waitlist”, and under contract shortly after being born. Our last foal, by Miss Playin Woods x MRI Sparked N Blue (Hank), has a waitlist for both genders and is expected in early June! Flash back to what this cross produced in 2023… 🤩😍 (Gunner as a 2month old)

He was purchased as a weanling by Kelly Grumbine Beattie and Cody Beattie of Beattie Horse Racing. Hank’s outstanding disposition combined with both of their athletic ability made Cain an outstanding “track/lead/pony horse” prospect. Cain has not disappointed them and will start training this month at Penn National. We plan to be there for his first ride under saddle! We are beyond proud of Cain and beyond thankful for the friendship we have found with his owners.

There are horses and then… there are horses! aka “Playgun2” is one of those VERY rare- once in a lifetime horses. Pictures and videos don’t do her justice. You have to see her in person, handle her, and watch her move to truly grasp how exceptional she is.
