Just a quick update. The matching process is moving along. My apologies for the slowness.
A couple of important bits of information.
The pups received their microchips today. Also, the pups have adapted to using the “litter” box quite well. It is filled with pine chips only now. The cedar seemed to irritate some of their eyes so I removed the cedar. The pups are either “going” in the box or just outside of the box on the chips. This is all geared towards getting them to go to the door when they need to go outside.
I will be contacting everyone individually by email when it’s time for us to communicate about pups.
I want to really stress that if you are traveling, your safety is my primary concern. I do not want you traveling if the weather is in any way forecast to be hazardous. I will happily keep the pups longer to insure your safety.
Lastly, each pup is eating 1 1/4 cups of food softened with warm water twice a day. Usually feeding time is 6:30-7:00 am and 4:30-5:00 pm.

Here is the food the pups are eating. I am soaking it in warm water for 10 minutes before feeding. It is an all life stages food and the kibbles are nice and small.

First snow!

11/01/2020

Just an update for the “O” litter families. The matching process is stalled until tomorrow due to the ice and now snow that we are getting. A couple of early folks will be here tomorrow. So, the process
Should proceed again after their visit. Thanks for all of your patience!! The kids went to visit their favorite white coat (Dr. Tom) on Thursday and everyone had thorough exams and received their vaccinations. Everyone is progressing nicely! Here is a video from their feeding this morning outside....
Temperature of wind chills in the teens, so they ate, pooped and had their first snow zoomies.

The puppies have transitioned to the nursery in the garage and out of the house. This afternoon I rocked their world when I built and installed a puppy “litter” box complete with pine and cedar chips. Hopefully they will transition from p*e pads to their new box quickly. 12/31/2019

The pups turned 5 weeks old on Saturday. Here are some photos at tonight’s feeding. We are feeding outside to acclimate them to colder temperatures ( it was 35 with strong winds) and to get them used to pooping outside ( which usually happens within 3-5 minutes of eating )!! I put new collars on them and just realized I had the light blue and sage green girls switched in the photos. The situation has been fixed now. Close up photos will be coming in the next couple of days and the matching process will begin next week and will progress rather quickly once it gets rolling!!

My how time flies when you operate on 2 hr sleep intervals.🤪
Hannah has done a great job but is finally struggling to keep up. Today the pups enjoyed their first supplemental feeding and everyone is happy, including momma Hannah!
Full tummies mean nap time....
