We have to share some progress pictures of our rescue horse Duncan. We took him in on February 9th. Severely emaciated and malnourished with multiple medical conditions and he has overcome every obstacle to this point. He is the kindest sweetest horse and my girls spent the day grooming him for his updated pictures. He loved every second!

Duncan and Sh**un update-
These sweet boys have settled into their new digs wonderfully. They have had almost 2 weeks of lots of nutrition, and round the clock care and attention. They have already begun to put some weight on. They are enjoying walking around the property and are gaining more energy every day.
They have quite a long road ahead until they are healthy and we are committed to making sure that happens.

We want to say thank you to everyone who has donated to our Go Fund Me to support Duncan and Sh**un.
We ask that you please share this post and the go fund me to help continue to raise funds for their rehabilitation.
They have settled into their new digs (thank you to Medella Vina Ranch) and have both seen the vet. We have a plan in place to help them gain weight and start to address some of their health issues.
Duncan (cream colored) is a sweet 23 year old gentleman and just loves all the attention he is getting. He is a quiet, kind soul.
Sh**un (brown) is a 17 year old gelding who loves being near Duncan, loves attention, has lots of energy and greets us with a whinny as soon as we pull up!

We had 2 sweet horses surrendered into our care this week. They will require months of attention to get healthy. 1/23 UPDATE: Milo is SAFE in foster!

Meet Milo. This big puppy is in urgent need of a lifeline.

Milo is an affectionate, smart dog who loves car rides, walks, pools, and his people, always choosing to be at your side. One former owner reported that he LOVES Taylor Swift, calming down immediately when he hears her songs. He has gotten along with both big and small dogs.

Milo is also a young, energetic dog who hasn't had much stability in his short life. As a result, he hasn't received the kind of training, structure, and patience a puppy needs, which has landed him in trouble and in urgent need of a home.

This smart, affectionate young boy has so much potential, and we know that Milo will thrive with a family who is willing to commit to him and help him be the best boy he can be. Unfortunately, with our current capacity crisis, he cannot get the kind of support he needs in the shelter environment. Milo is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and free to adopt. He must find a foster OR adoptive home by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24th. Please come to PACC ASAP if you can help this deserving boy.

1/9 UPDATE: SAFE, adopted!

Where are our Shepherd lovers? Roman is in urgent need of a breed-savvy home!

Roman is all Shepherd - incredibly smart, handsome, and extremely devoted to his people. He ran into some trouble in his previous home and is looking for a family who can help him be the best boy we know he can be. His former owner reported that he did well with children, enjoyed playing with toys, and is affectionate. Roman has been uncomfortable with other dogs while at PACC and would need to meet any potential doggy roommates before heading home.

Roman's deadline was announced last week, but he's still waiting to find the right person. He is available for foster or adoption through PACC. Please come to meet this special boy ASAP and help him find his home!

Dozer is a 4-5 year old pitbull. he loves to play with bones, go on drives and loves to cuddle. he will be by your side no matter what. unfortunately he does not get along with smaller animals. he takes some time getting settled into new places. he’s crate trained. knows “sit” and “shake” he also loves to sleep a lot lol. he’s a bit of a puller on a leash but i’ve been trying to train him on that. 520-283-3479

We were contacted today by a concerned animal lover who is trying to find someone to rescue a dog who’s owner has passed. Please see below for pics and info. If you can help please send us a message and we will connect you with her. Location is near 1st and Ft Lowell.

I'm trying to get a little Chihuahua rescued who was left abandoned when her owner passed away. She's been roaming the property for about a month. The neighbors next store were feeding/watering her but they moved and didn't take her. I called PACC but they told basically because I fed and watered her that she's my problem now. She's scared, but does follow me and my husband. I guess because we've been humane to her. They said I could schedule a time to bring her in but I don't have the means to catch her. I just was encouraged to share her situation here in hopes that somebody could help. Thank you and please no negative comments. I'm still being a humane person putting water and food out for her at her deceased owners house.
