Footsteps & Paws "BULLMASTIFFS".

We are truly amazed by the laid back temperament these GIANTS posses.

Pictured is our BREEDING PAIR that is now ready to commence with their scheduled program. Good with everything and everyone including other pets at home, provided that they are trainied and socialized. Always eager to please and quite stubborn. They are always next to you and will not hesitate to demand that you acknowledge their presence. They enjoy the most when it's playtime and are quite GOOFY.

However, you should not be fooled by the cute faces. They are very good gaurd dogs and will stand firm should they perceive something or someone as a threat.

Good morning to the footsteps & paws community.

I trust that we are all well and have had a memorable festive season with our loved ones. I also hope that our companions were safe when everyone was engaged in the goodbye/welcome firework show.

Once again, we have managed to make another family happy and yes, they have been blessed with a new puppy and family member. "BLAZE" as she was named is out to set all stereotypes straight...

"DIFFERENT TASTE FOR DIFFERENT PEOPLE"

and this Mastiff mix is a fine example of what selective breeding is all about.. 9 weeks of age and looking like a boss. A loving pet who aims to please whomever shows love to her.

Thank you to the Moloi family in Pinetown for trusting our Brand (FS&P) when sourcing a new puppy. Our work has been done, now we handed the load over to lil Blaze. We trust that she will fly the banner for years to come.

This year has been nothing but hard times for us as we have lost Two of our Ambassador, "XENA and her daughter "Shadow". We are deeply scarred by the tragic lose of Bully Females and emotional to announce that we no longer have Pitbulls in our programs.

Rest assured we will come back with a BANG!!!.

The most recent event occurred last week when we lost "Shadow" due to puppies blocking the birth canal. It has taken us a while to process everything but we're glad that she has gone to a better place🕊️.

She left us with Seven adorable puppies which we are glad to mother and nurture them. As Footsteps And Paws we have dedicated our time to ensuring that they grow healthy and strong.

Greetings to the Footsteps and Paws Community.

Summer is here and it's time to enjoy the outdoors. Whether you're under an umbrella at the beach, indoors or enjoying the shade, be sure to stay away from Today's scorching heat.

An urgent notice to those who keep their dogs on a leash or chain, "PLEASE ALLOW THE ANIMAL TO LAY IN A COOL AND LESS STRESSFUL AREA". I don't know why do people get dogs and chain them. In this weather🌡️,they are vulnerable to a handful problems and with some being fatal, eg. HEAT STROKE.

*Fresh water should be supplied.
*Adequate shelter is a must.
*Water them down with a hose to help cool them.
*If you have a dog with a short muzzle like a Bullmastiff, English, French and American Bulldog, Boerboel or a pug, etc. Please monitor them as they often have a hard time breathing in extreme heat condition.

Lastly, On the picture is Shadow who is expecting a litter soon. She is a Bully Pitbull that was crossed with a Bullmastiff.
Both parents are registered but with two separate associations(KUSA AND SADBA) Papers are available should need be.

Lastly, we have just learnt that Shadow has ELEVEN NI***ES, which is pretty awkward given that they normally have TEN.

Good evening to the Footsteps & Paws community. I trust that we are well and looking after our family companions 🐕.

The rainy season is here and we would also like to urge our community members to make sure that your dogs are warm and have adequate bedding in their kennels if they are kept outside. Also, check the kennel for any leaks that may cause discomfort to the animal. Don't forget to LOVE them because they are also family. 😉.

Lastly, during the past week I ran into and old friend whom I sold to a good friend of mine, Mr. Donovan Chillindi. He had brought Diesel, the now 4 year Bully from my first litter, to the Parlock Veterinary Clinic to get his annual Rabies shot. What a monster this boy has grown to be.

A very warm good morning to the Fs&P community.

Just wanted to remind you guys to love and care for your pets.

Today, I took my 8 year old son on a walk with 4 of our dogs. It has been a wonderful experience for the both of us. He seems to be quite a good dog handler and a pet lover. I think exposing him to animals at a young age could be beneficial in the long run as there are careers like being Veterinary which appears to be not recognized amongst the "African Communities".

Greetings to my FS&P Family.

I trust that we are all well and have been keeping safe during these times as this pandemic continues.

Just thought I'd share this image with you. I was quite young and inquisitive.
(Pictured while held on my is "Bruno the 1st" and he was a Blue American Stafford shire and on my left was Kelly the 1st and she was a Pitbull)

I basically grew up around dogs but these were the first I had the chance to handle and ever since then i have gained a lot of knowledge in both breeding and handling dogs with it's temperament being the Centre of everything, a priority, a demand if you want dogs that will play with the family, especially the kids.

As Footsteps & Paws, we would like to share the knowledge with other pet owners in the rural and township communities. We believe that the people's mentality could change if they are guided appropriately.

This initiative could curb the number of dogs who were once cute and now are stray and have to be the S. P. C. A's problem.

Let's help them by educating each other and various aspects of pet ownership. We should also keep safe of any health hazards, eliminating the potential risk of Rabies and other fatal diseases from our K9 companions that pose a threat to mankind.
