We recently had the pleasure of spending a long weekend with this odd pair. Tango the big, young, energetic, Dogue de Bordeaux & Jack the small, old, laid back Jack Russell 😍 they certainly kept us on our toes with their different needs but both are friendly and affectionate lovely dogs and we had a blast with them 🧡

This dynamic duo are Rosie and Daisy! We at Mary Puppins had the pleasure of meeting this pair a few months back and loved every minute with them. They are loving and friendly and of course adorable 😍 Rosie is a young Bichon Frise and little Daisy is a Chi-chon. Welcome to the gang girls 🥰

This is Gwen (Gwendolyn, Gwenyth, Gwenny, Gwenola) she is everything you would typically expect from a Cockapoo. She will run for hours, play with anything, steal whatever she can 😂 and definitely keep you on your toes! But she's also very loving and enjoys quiet nights in front of the TV with LOTS of fusses.

Gwen has lots of servants, oops, I mean humans, who make sure she's looked after but once in a while they call us at Mary Puppins to have a play date with this lovely girl 💜😍

🐾 Meet The Client 🐾

This is Hugo, (Hugi, Tank, Little Man) he's a dachshund cross who is playful and friendly but unfortunately does not enjoy his own company.

Like many of our clients Hugo had a pawsome time during the pamdemic, but is struggling to adjust to his humans being out of the house again. Whenever they are gone a little too long Mary Puppins steps in for a play date or an over night stay 🥰

Hugo has a lot of love to give both to humans and any animal friend he can find 🐶💙

He's loving and very sweet, but sometimes gets himself a little worried so needs lots of attention otherwise he gives you the side eye 😂 it's lovely to have this floofy one so happy to see you when you walk through the door ❤️🐶

This is Coco (nickname - Lovely Boy). He's a 2 year old Sh*tzu who started out being a little afraid but after a few weeks of visits and walks you can see he's now totally comfortable and loves a snuggle and a play! Coco wasn't instantly thrilled with new people coming into his home but now he's a playful, affectionate little boy who looks forward to our visits 🐶❤️

We recently had the enormous pleasure of looking after these two handsome boys!

This is Percy (brown). As you can see he has no trouble being the centre of attention. Ted on the other hand (black), would much rather be under a blanket relaxing, occasionally poking his head out to keep an eye on his little brother. Thanks to Mary Puppins - Dog Nanny their humans got to have a lovely weekend away whilst we made some new sausage friends! 🥰🌭🐶

From one sleepy girl to one who refuses to believe in any sort of quiet time. Turns out no matter how much her big sister Molly sleeps, Saffy is just happy to have friends over! We had a sleepover a few months' back with these two lovely ladies, and we like to think everybody had a good time!

This is Tyson, he has two modes, awake and cuddly or asleep and cuddly! 💗

Tyson is 8 years old and suffers with separation anxiety, he is a super friendly boy who loves everyone he meets and always likes to say hello to the passing pooch. We help to care for Tyson when his owners need us and we just love having him around.. nickname "little buddy."

This is Leo, the very definition of a lap dog. He's very affectionate and likes nothing better then a good fuss! He's a playful 2 year old who loves to wind up his younger brother (who's now much bigger than him.) Aside from causing mischief he's happiest when snuggled up with someone he loves, which is pretty much everyone he meets! 🐕🥰

This is Blue, he will be turning one in a few weeks and still hasn't grown into those ears! Blue is a energetic little boy, who loves to play and run wild in the garden, u less he's fast asleep (see second picture). He is very affectionate with his humans and thinks he rules the roost. He likes the sound of his own voice and LIKES to copy others!

We love a Drop-in to check on this little guy! A day with Blue in it is never boring. Let us know if you have a little trouble maker who needs some attention during the day! 💙 🐕 🐾

🐾 MEET THE CLIENTS 🐾

Everyone meet Molly, the older sister to Saffy (last weeks post) at the tender age of 14, this sweet old girl needs some encouragement to leave the comfort of home. From Molly's point of view it wasn't quite love at first sight, but with patients, understanding, treats and a little nudge from her excitable younger sister, Molly has come on leaps and bounds and is now integrated into the Puppins family.

She loves to sniff anything and everything and sometimes forgets her age and tries to keep up with her much younger sister. In the last picture you can barely 'spot' the difference! ❤️🐕🐕

This is Saffy, an 8 year old Dalmatian. She is our regular escape artist, with bundles of energy she loves nothing more than being let lose to run and chase her ball. She is into everything from other dogs, to humans, to birds and she hopes that they all want to play. She loves walking with her older sister (post pending) who sometimes needs a little encouragement and Saffy is always happy to help. Such a sweet girl ❤️🐶🐕

So this is Star, a beautiful golden Lab, who thinks she's a lap dog! She loves attention and is very affectionate with both humans and other animals. You can normally find her snuggling up and napping with her sibling Scooby (the cat). Adorable pair! 🐶🐱❤️

This is Evie. She's an 8 year old Bichon who is the Queen of her castle. Evie likes a nice long walk (at her own pace) but her favourite thing to do is just relax on the sofa in the warm! She's also partial to a nice belly scratch, and will listen to every word you say - as long as there's a treat in your hand! 🐾🐩🐶

With the country slowly opening back up, thankfully, we're able to open our services again as well!

As more and more people head back to work, our furry friends will be wondering what has happened to the attention they've been getting over the past year. This pandemic has been the best year of their lives, but all of us regaining our freedom shouldn't mean that our pets get lonely as a result!

This is why Mary Puppins is here. We believe our pups and co deserve all the love in the world, even when you're not around to give it!

You're doing other important things, and sometimes, the idea of a long walk at the end of the day might not be a dream come true as you get used to the status quo.
