📍The Omega Rabbit in Egypt Cairo 🇪🇬
📆On October 22nd, 2024 the steering committee for the OMEGA-RABBIT project convened.

This project is supported by the European Union 🇪🇺 and the PRIMA Program.

🐰The Omega Rabbit project aims to develop an innovative model for producing omega-3 enriched rabbit meat by using linseed and algae supplements to boost animal health, fertility, and meat quality, while also promoting local Mediterranean food production and contributing to human health through a better omega-6/omega-3 balance.

✅ This meeting provided an opportunity for project partners to review the significant progress made in improving rabbit and , enhancing the quality of animal products, and developing natural, healthy rabbit products.
