Believe it or not, I was never a "cat" person but a few years ago I found myself at a cat shelter where I adopted my first love Moon, a beautiful Siamese mix. About a year later I found myself researching and obs

essing over the Maine C**n breed-I HAD to have one. Kassius entered my life, the most loyal, loving animal I have ever met. With lines coming from Budapest and Italy he is sure to grow large and absolutely magnificent. I found my Queen, Stormi who comes all the way from Russia. Stormi is fierce, full of personality but as cuddly as they come. Saige and Salem both joined our family last year, also coming from Russia. All health and genetic testing has been complete and they will be paired with Kassiuss this year in 2023. Please follow along, interact and feel free to message me with any questions you may have!

Stormi came home last night and has been resting. Her incision is very small thanks to Dr. Gilson at Feline Veterinary Care of Morgantown. Our wonderful vet tech Keirsten used a laser on Stormi’s incision to keep inflammation to a minimum. Overall she seems very content and comfortable. I can’t thank our veterinary staff and everyone who reached out yesterday to check in on our girl. 💖

The end of an era….

Early this morning I took my very first female Maine C**n, Stormi to the vet to be spayed. I have SO many feelings surrounding this event. I’m thrilled for her, she’s on to the next chapter of being a house cat with no responsibilities, no heat cycles, no kittens to take care of ect. On the other hand I’m sad. Selfishly I am upset that I’ll never get to watch her love on her own new born kittens again, I’m sad that I’ll never get to watch her teach them all to latch, eat, play, ect. I’m forever grateful (and I know that so many of you are too) that she has blessed us with 4 litters of kittens over the past few years. She has truly taught me so much and graciously allowed me to be beside her while giving birth, has always allowed me to handle her kittens from very early on and has shown me such an unconditional love over our past few years together. She would purr and stay calm through birth, care for each kitten with so much love and gracefully raise them for months before letting them go. I couldn’t have asked for a better cat in general but I’m truly blessed that Stormi was my first Queen, she reigned flawlessly.

Although today, we hang her crown and close this chapter of her life. We celebrate the many years to come that we have with her as a beloved pet.

I cannot wait to pick my girl up and bring her home. 🖤
