Recently we noticed a couple of new cats in one of our colonies. These 3 were the latest. Last Saturday we started trapping and neutering these same cats.We are hoping to find them a same enclosed garden to be released in together.

Summer heat is here...Very important information...please share
A cat had given birth in an elderly person's "basement".She had given birth to 5 kittens.
She called several places but no one could help her out and people being paid to do the job did literally nothing!
With the resources she had, she managed to trap the mother and 2 kittens. Yesterday, I went over and transferred the mother into an over-trap so this morning she went off for neutering.
We still have 2 kittens that are running loose in the basement and 2 more already caught. One of the kittens had found a home with this elderly person's son.
Is there anyone experienced willing to help out with these kittens? They are scared of people so cannot be homed directly unless the family taking them in, is already experienced in this situation.
Due to the huge amount of friendly kittens that are still homeless, it's not fair to get them used to people without having a home ready for them. Anyone can help out please send us a personal message. If you can't help pls share. Thanks
This morning I read a comment full of myths! If you are not experienced pls refrain from giving advice!
KITTENS SHOULD NEVER BE SEPARATED FROM THEIR MUM AS SOON AS THEY START TO EAT!
Kittens need at least 8 weeks until they will be able to be separated from their mother under normal circumstances. While they do start to eat, drink and make use of the litter alone, on behavioral bases they are not ready!
The comment continued that the reason why cats get abandoned is that they are big and turn aggressive so owners get fed up etc...
THIS IS THE REASON WHY KITTENS SHOULD REMAIN WITH THEIR MUM IN ORDER TO BE SOCIALIZED!
It is the responsibility of the carer to ensure that the kittens under their care are getting properly socialized with the same species, other species, and also humans.
While there are other reasons why aggression and fear take place, lack of proper socialization is often the main reason behind such behavior...

It is our 18th year of unpaid work in the sector of animal rescues. Until finishing studies it is not possible to keep bottle feeding, recoveries from neutering, socializing kittens, rehoming etc on voluntary bases...
All intakes will be against a reasonable fee instead of closing down this completely. It is against our wish to come to such terms but we can't do otherwise. Apart from other personal reasons, we have to ensure a 2-3 times a day meal for over 40 stray animals. We can't abandon them...
