It’s raining Pomeranians again. New week, new chaos!

Honey – 5 pounds, found tied to a pet store door but still smiling.
Snickers – 5 pounds, owner surrender with main character energy.
Fifi – 6-pound puppy with fractured metatarsals and zero awareness of her own size.
Artist – 4 pounds, surrendered, already thinks he’s in charge.
Duchess – 6 pounds, another surrender whose name fits and attitude confirms it.

None of them top six pounds. All of them act like they run payroll. More details coming soon once we find our sanity.

We’ve been a little too busy saving dogs to post, but look at this lineup of freshly adopted fluffballs! Congrats to Sabrina, Nyx, Dashi, Daphnee, Nico, Chloe, Coco, Copper, Reggie, Luxe, and Dynver.

All officially adopted and currently living rent-free in someone’s bed, demanding snacks on command!

This fluffy little pumpkin has had quite the month. He’s new to rescue, had a mass removed from his backside (yes, that kind of mass), and got an extensive dental. Unfortunately, Dexter is also heartworm positive and will be starting his fast-kill treatment soon. Send him some extra love and maybe a virtual candy corn as he begins his recovery.

Bella was found running loose in Houston with fabulous hair and no forwarding address. She had a microchip, but her owners ghosted her harder than a bad Tinder date. Turns out she was heartworm positive… but we fixed that, and now she’s healthy, happy, and looking for someone who actually deserves her.

She’s 2 years old, 18 pounds, and the perfect combo of playful and snuggly. She loves belly rubs, toys, and dogs who understand that zoomies are a team sport. Cats? She thinks they’re great… unless they run, and then it’s game on.

This 7.5-month-old Pomeranian loves everyone he meets, plays hard, naps harder, and thinks “quiet time” is a myth. His adoption fee is reduced due to his lifelong diet needs, but trust us, he’s worth every kibble.

We rescued Mattie in 2020 from a backyard where this broken lawn chair was her only bed.
Once she was given love and a home, her world completely changed. For five wonderful years, she lived a beautiful life filled with comfort, safety, snuggles and joy.
Maddie’s mom hopes her story inspires others to take a chance on an older rescue dog — because sometimes, the ones who’ve been overlooked the longest have the most love to give.

🥳 Remember Brody? He had a fan club’s worth of applications, but one stood out. His new mom, Michelle, was so overjoyed to be chosen that she booked a flight from Florida to Texas the moment she got the news.

Not only did she come all the way to bring Brody home, but she went above and beyond by helping another Pom Squad pup along the way. She drove a few hours to pick up Luke, a puppy in Georgia who needed to head our way, and flew him to Texas for us.

Brody is now living his best life in sunny Florida, and Luke got his wings too. Thank you, Michelle, for being the kind of person who turns a rescue into an adventure.

Meet Daphnee and Chloe, two pint-sized travelers who cruised from Tyler to Houston with our volunteer Karen. Rumor has it they argued over who got the window seat the whole way.

Daphnee, age 6 and six pounds of attitude, and Chloe, age 4 and five pounds of sass, are not bonded but share a love of attention and snacks. They’re getting vetted this week and will be ready to charm their way into forever homes soon.

Rocket came into rescue in July, and since then he’s grown approximately 300% more floof. Unfortunately, he’s still waiting for a forever family to appreciate his majestic coat and his “zoomies first, think later” lifestyle.

At one year old and seven pounds, he’s great with kids, dogs, and cats. He’s the perfect mix of spunky and sweet, and he’s very ready to trade foster life for his own home.

⭐ For anyone wondering — Luke came from an owner in the United States, not overseas! The “customs” line was just a playful pun since he flew on a domestic flight with an adopter headed to Texas.

Meet Luke, our newest Pom Squad arrival. He just flew in from Florida on a “paw-it-forward” flight. An adopter headed to Texas to pick up Brody happened to live nearby and gave him a lift. Talk about ridesharing done right.

Welcome to Texas, Luke. Your fluff has officially cleared customs. He’s officially landed, unpacked, and ready to take over everyone’s heart.

He will not be available for adoption until all of his veterinarian care is completed.e

Nico is six months old and weighs a whopping barely four pounds. That’s not a typo. Four. Pounds. Basically, he's small enough to fit in your hoodie pocket for emotional support at all times.

He’s playful, great with kids, and 97 percent fluff. The other three percent is pure attitude.

Pom Squad Rescue

It all started with these two little ones....Tiny and Louie. They were rescued from Arkansas by Recycled Pomeranians. Tiny almost died until the rescue talked the owner into sending Louie to live with her since they were a bonded pair. When Louie arrived to the home where Tiny was living, she began to eat, drink, and walk again. Our love for senior Pomeranians began when we heard their story and adopted them. Our love continued when we were given the opportunity to also save their friend....14 year old Gracie. Our rescue is dedicated to saving other Pomeranians like Tiny, Louie, and Gracie so that they live healthy, happy, and exciting lives with loving families in the community.
