Alec was rescued from living outdoors in the sweltering Texas heat today. He desperately needed tl be geoomed but his severely matted hair meant that it had to be cut short. He is scheduled to have a wellness examin and vaccinations on Tuesday, after which he will need a foster to help him adjust to indoor living. Alec is timid and doesnt know how to walke on a leash, so a calm environment would be ideal. He is less than two years old and gets along with other dogs. Please let us know if you can foster him. He is located in Santa Fe (south of Houston)

Howdy, partners. 🤠 This boot may be made for walkin’, but right now it’s just holding one extra tiny Pomeranian with a big heart problem. Glimmer is so small she also fits in a teacup — but don’t let her size fool you, her medical needs are Texas-sized.

This little cowpoke needs life-saving PDA surgery, and we’re fundraising to give her the happy, healthy future she deserves. Every dollar gets her closer to trading in her boot and teacup for a long life of lap-warming and love.

And before y’all ask… nope, this little cowgirl is not available for adoption (yet). Her only ride right now is straight to the cardiologist.

A huge thank you to (Southwest Animal Transport Team) for helping us get little Kevin (formerly Kion) from Virginia to Texas!

Kevin made the journey so he can receive an orthopedic evaluation and much-needed surgery, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible dedication of his Flight Angel, Annette. She generously volunteered her entire day to fly him safely into our arms, and we are so grateful for her kindness and commitment.

Because of SWATT and Annette, Kevin is now one step closer to the care he needs and the bright future he deserves. đź’›

Transports and foster care in Texas are desperately needed. Three dogs are living outside in Harlingen, suffering in the intense Texas heat, and are at risk of not surviving. They can be transported to Victoria on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday and need to be taken to get veterinary care in Hearne or Angleton, Texas. The dogs consist of two males and one female, all under two years old. A groomer has offered to groom them prior to transport. Please assist us in rescuing these dogs as we are currently unable to take them in unless we get help.

I rescued Misty in May of 2020. She was 10 years old and my first rescue. She was the sweetest dog who brought so much joy to my life. I recently sent her over the rainbow bridge. She was 15 years old. She was simply the best dog and I will always cherish the time I had with her.

Bowie is a certified purse dog who insists on being toted everywhere like the fragile treasure he is. He thrives in slings, strollers, and moral support roles at your 9 to 5. He will attend your Zoom meetings, greet your coworkers, and nap through every spreadsheet like a pro.

He’s tiny, floofy, full of opinions, and convinced the world revolves around him. And honestly, it kind of does.

Please welcome two fun-sized rescue recruits who just landed via thanks to our legendary flight angel, Winnie!

Rosstifer is a 3-month-old, 2-pound Pomeranian puppy with a suspected liver shunt. He’ll need an ultrasound or CT scan to confirm the diagnosis, with possible surgery in his future. Kiwi is an absolutely microscopic 1-pound poodle at 3.5 months old. She’s expected to stay under 3 pounds fully grown, and due to her teeny-tiny size, she requires frequent feedings.

We were able to welcome these two thanks to our partnership with SWATT and the kindness of volunteers like Winnie, who donate their time to fly these babies into rescue. We are incredibly grateful for this life-saving network.

Meet our newest Pom Squad intakes: Dynver and Tootsie! Dynver is a stunning tan sable Pomeranian with a soft, expressive face and the sweetest little paws. He’s calm, gentle, and already winning hearts with those big round eyes. Tootsie is a tiny chocolate Pom/Chi mix with a playful spark and a tongue that just won’t quit. She’s spunky, silly, and full of charm packed into a pint-sized body.

These two are settling into foster care and will be getting fully vetted before they’re available for adoption. 🥰

Six more happy tails have officially found their forever homes! Sunny, Huckle, Little Man, Shep, Serenity, and Squirrel are all off to begin new chapters with families who adore them.

A very special shoutout goes to Huckle, who waited patiently for months until the perfect family came along. He joined us at the beginning of 2025 and overcame so much to get to this moment. Watching him head home was extra sweet.

To every adopter who chose to open their heart and home, thank you. You are changing lives in the best way. 🥰

Pom Squad Rescue

It all started with these two little ones....Tiny and Louie. They were rescued from Arkansas by Recycled Pomeranians. Tiny almost died until the rescue talked the owner into sending Louie to live with her since they were a bonded pair. When Louie arrived to the home where Tiny was living, she began to eat, drink, and walk again. Our love for senior Pomeranians began when we heard their story and adopted them. Our love continued when we were given the opportunity to also save their friend....14 year old Gracie. Our rescue is dedicated to saving other Pomeranians like Tiny, Louie, and Gracie so that they live healthy, happy, and exciting lives with loving families in the community.
