Y’all. Farming is hard work. I had the opportunity to attend Farm Aid and it was so much fun! Phenomenal artists working to raise awareness of how much our farmers struggle here in the U.S. to provide food for us and their families. It’s long, thankless hours and our farmers are taken for granted. I know flower farming is so different from growing food, but we do provide a service for people and habitats for our pollinators. It’s also a lot of hard work, often done without machinery, and in my case, just me. I have enjoyed learning this year and working in nature. I certainly do not take that for granted. I will continue to grow flowers next year but it will be for experience and enjoyment only. I can’t commit to selling and trying to market next season. We will also be building my mom’s house on the farm so I will be focusing on that project as well. Thank you so much for following along and supporting my little wild acre. I hope you’ll stick around because I know I’ll be back 🌸

It feels quiet but I know everything is growing right along. Excited to see some tiny flowers and new buds beginning to pop up. Also, enjoy my cut hose. 🌸🌱☀️🚜
