We have a lot of new followers so we wanted to tell you a little about us and Search and Rescue (SAR). We currently have 5 dogs as part of our team. They are all bloodhounds who track people. Four of our K9's are certified and one is in training. Certification is required annually. Training is an ongoing requirement for both humans and K9s, learning never stops. K9 teams often travel out of state to attend training as well as obtaining certification.

SAR is a lot more than the K9's. There are people manning command post who gather and share information with our teams. They also ensure we know where the teams are, and that they have the support needed. When a K9 team goes out on a search they have a flanker with them. This person keeps an eye out for safety concerns and situational awareness as the handler stays focused on their dog. For training we also need "runners." A "runner" is the person you need to find. We will share more about training and any real world searches as we go forward. We are excited to be on this journey and watching our group grow.

We did get a training in before Christmas and before one of us had surgery. Here is Miss Micah finding her person up high on a playground. Also got a chance to work Nadêje on here scent alerts. Pumpkin and Jude also had a great day along with Tulsa county’s bloodhound Missy.

Applications are officially open! We are looking to fill two positions in our warehouse. Job duties would include - forklift operation, loading out customer orders, unloading trucks, and customer greeting. Position is 18+ due to Forklift requirements. 8a-6p, 2-3 days per week.
