Due to an increase demand in cat and dog nail clipping and bum trimming , from w,c, 25th November I will be providing these services as standalone options.

The great thing is I can come to your home and carry the out the service in your house without the need of any stressful travel for your cat or dog .

Particularly good for those old, ill or nervous pets, this home service allows your cat or dog have their nails cut or for cats or some dogs , their bum trimmed. Best of all you can be with your pet whilst the service is carried out.

As you know time is running out for Bob & Boy to find a new home. We are now looking for a foster family for them while they continue to look for their forever home.

All food/litter and supplies will be provided.
Could you help these beautiful boys by providing them with a loving foster home ?

New foster carers would be subject to home checks.
Transportation can be arranged by rescue volunteers

Bob & Boy have been with thier owner since kittens, they are a very loving bonded pair. Thier family is moving house and can sadly not take them with them so they find themselves homeless through no fault of thier own. Their family are devastated and need to be sure they get the safe loving home they deserve. Could you be willing to give these lovely boys a nice comfy sofa to spend their days ?

8 & 10 years old. Vacinated, neutered, chipped and with a clean bill of health.

They would like access to a nice garden away from busy roads once settled in their new home.

Bob likes to spend most of his time fussing his humans and Boy likes to come for a fuss on his terms or basically when he feels like it!

We've had a black and white cat brought into us after jumping into a workers van in Birmingham. Sadly they are not microchipped 😞. We would love to be able to reunite this little one with there owner, if anyone has any information please call the practice on 01384 389045 ☎️

At the end of this week a story of heart break and horror, compassion and love started to unfold.

A man was selling some poodle pups on a free advertisement page. Thank goodness someone spotted a little face of desperation in the background.

I am not one for looking at or sharing posts on animal cruelty, but in this case it needs sharing.

On Friday evening I watched with so many, absolutely transfixed on a group of dog groomers working together and showing so much compassion to give the rescued dogs a start to a better life.

All the details you need are here.

I should think pretty much everyone in the UK dog grooming community knows the story and those that will donate already have done so.

My plea is to my social media clients and friends who don’t know the story to help raise money for the dogs.

Money is still needed, operations and treatment for on going health conditions are needed.

I know I am, connected to some amazing people on here who are committed to trying to help animals in need.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURE IF YOUR DOG SWALLOWS A BALL.
Preferably, DON'T use a tennis ball (or similar sized ball) use a ball on a rope!
Many don't know this information! Remember every second matters during a choking incident. ❤ 🐕🐩🐶🦮🐕‍🦺
1. Place the dog on their back. Brace the back against the floor. Straddle the dog while adjusting yourself based on the size of the dog. Position the head in “in-line position” with the airway parallel to the floor.
2. Make an open diamond shape with your hands. Place your thumbs on either side of the trachea below the ball or object. Grip the “V” of the jaw using lip/cheek to protect fingers.
3. Push with a J-stroke down and out against the ball until it ejects from the mouth.
Both this method and the Heimlich method has been proven to work in these scenarios so don't hesitate to save your dog.
