Goofball Tank 🐶 🐾 ⚽️

I take care of Tank every 4 weeks for paw care, along with drop-in visits a few times a day while his parents travel. He’s a trained, intact German shepherd who doesn’t really like to be held, let alone have someone grind away at his toe nails. I still need to muzzle him for safety precautions, but I think it’s safe to say we’ve built a strong and trusting relationship — just look at this goofy smile he’s got on. He loves to play with toys, can deflate soccer balls in an instant, enjoys running around the yard and chowing down on treats, of course 🦴

I like to put myself into a pets perspective, and maybe that’s how I am able to bond so closely to them. Be true and treat them with the utmost love and respect — they will be your best friend and most loyal companion. ❤️ 🐾

Bailey was such a good girl for her pedicure and gland expression today! A little patience goes a long way - she used to go to the vet for c o m p l e t e sedation for a nail trim because she was highly stressed when anyone tried to clip her nails. I approached her with the “less is more” technique and have now successfully clipped and filed the nails, along with trimming the paw pad hair on three separate occasions — with absolutely nothing but patience. Thank you for trusting me, Bailey! 👏🏻
