We try to make vet visits as fun as possible for our patients. One of the most unaccepted tasks we have to do is take our patients temperatures.....re**ally! BUT, our HomeAgain microchips are now also imbedded with a temperature scan and we can get a pet's body temperature without a re**al probe being required. This is one more great reason to have your pet microchipped!

Skye's Genetic Health Panel. Normal - no copies for Canine Multifocal Retinopathy (CMR1), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts (JHC), or Hyperuricosuria (HUU).

This means she doe not carry and will not pass on these genetic conditions to her babies!

This beautiful lady has been raised by a very active family, a yellow lab and a pug.....she is well socialized to just about all situations and conditions. Snow and cold or South Dakota to the heat in Mississippi, Skye makes friends and fans everywhere she goes.

Socializing our dogs is so very important! This is a friends daughter (who Skye had just met) doing some “dog training”. I think Skye was actually do the training....”little human watch as I take all these treats!” 😉

We have completed our testing! Shawn and Jennifer dont believe in doing things halfway or that "good enough is enough". They have raised a beautiful girl with wonderful pedigree but there have been several hoops for her to jump through to get to the day where they said "Yes, we are going to breed her!" Here are a few of those hoops:

1) DNA clear Cystinuria Type 3
2) DNA clear for JHC, CMR1, DM, HUU - NO COPIES!
3) OFA certified Normal on Cardiac Exam
4) OFA certified Normal on Patella Exam
5) OFA certified Normal for Tracheal Hypoplasia (from radiographic review)
6) OFA GOOD on preliminary hip evaluation
7) OFA certified Normal eye exam by certified opthalmologist
