Meet Jack and Athena. These two cuties came to me because their fur momma couldn't take them. They will be ready for adoption now :). Both have been dewormed and checked over. Both are very healthy and super friendly.

Please be advised that unless it is ABSOLUTELY an emergency coming only from the county, I will not be taking any rescues. I will be available for questions and advice but due to a family issue, I need to keep my focus on my family. Thanks for understanding and we will be back taking rescues on 6/28

Meet Dusty. Our newest foster. Dusty came to us last night by a wonderful family who saved her from being hit by a car. This cutie is eating like a champ and loves snuggles.

Meet Moonbeam. This little furry fella came to ANKC from a family who needed help. He's very little and was not properly weaned from mom. Meds and warmth and yummy food got this little guy comfortable. . We are going to do everything we can to make sure he makes it! For now it's warm snuggle time 🥰

Our sweet Loki passed away this morning in my arms. He passed away due to Fading Kitten Syndrome, which is the kitten version of SIDS. He passed loved and warm.

Day 3 and this little guy has escaped from his cage to play, started purring and loves to jump around! His daddy is super excited to have him home!

Loki is doing fantastic today!! He has been playing and eating all day! We have cut back on fluids but still pushing meds. He has made a huge difference since I picked him up yesterday.

Hi everyone!! I am excited to be teaming up with the Appomattox Animal Shelter as a neonatal kitten clinic. Here I will provide 24 hour care for kittens who are sick or have been separated from mom
I will also take in kittens under the age of 8 weeks as they will be up for adoption after that. I will post pictures of my intakes and if you are interested in adopting one, I will send you to the correct location to where they will be after they are able to be released. Kittens brought to me by owners will be adopted through me.
