This features my most recent student, Freya! Freya is an adolescent Australian Shepherd, struggling with a confusing blend of hyperactivity and anxiety. During my stay, Freya and I worked on sharing and trading resources with her sibling dogs, settling in the car, choosing her crate as her sanctuary, and coping with triggers in public places. This job also came with the sweetest feline assistant, Waffles!

Happy Wednesday! For those of you who work Monday-Friday, you are now at the hump of your week. You might feel stressed and/or eager to feel free and have fun. You might also be struggling with a particularly anxious or restless pet. Our animals feed off our energy as guidance. Therefore, when we are in a good mood, they actually learn healthy coping mechanisms faster. For this reason, Lana likes to incorporate breath and movement into her sessions with clients.
