Daily dose of the importance of reps and consistency.

When I got Potamo i decided to make as much of her heeling her own idea💡 and for me to simply reinforce her when she was doing something close to target behavior and progressively move closer.

Training her heel this way took a lot of time and i mean a LOT. I was never in a rush to be completed and we are still a work in progress both moving towards our goals as a team.

Sometimes the baby steps seem so small we trick ourselves into believing we aren't accomplishing things fast enough. Trust the process.

I will eventually use guidance for fine tuning things like turns and side steps. I am just so proud of her and thankful for this little bulldog and the time we share.
