The dogs (and cat who's 14) had chicken and rice plates for supper. I used my rice cooker and slow baked the chicken in a little low sodium chicken broth.
Sassie got extra for the babies. I'm excited about the babies 😊.

It's gotten cold here in the midwest this week. All the critters are making there dens for winter and stirring around... so look what Ms. Sassie got!
She wouldn't release it so I had to trade her favorite treats so she would drop it and not try to eat it! 😏 She's so proud 👏🏻 .

They are sun bathing this afternoon! Sassie is starting to get big. She absolutely loves the sunshine 🌞. She gets extra treats! She loves carrot chips and fresh cut bones from my local grocery store 😋.

One of my customers who became my best friend took this photo of me and her baby and gave it to me as a gift. She is from one of my first litters. She ended up getting 3 all together from me. It's the little things that mean so much!

If you have pet allergies 🤧 and don't want a dog that sheds, then you need a Schnauzer!
They do NOT shed.
They will leave a heavy imprint on your heart ❤️ but not on your sofa!

Logan is the father of Sassies up coming litter. It will be his last! He is shaved right now, but he is mega coated! He has been neutered. He is a very vocal boy. He literally talks to me about everything!!! I listen as much as I can 🤭☺️!

One of the many reasons that made me fall in love with this breed is the fact that they have always been able to sense health problems. Even before us humans know something is wrong, they do!
My Dad has more health problems as he gets older.
If my Dad's running a temperature they know.
I didn't know until I saw him shivering under his blanket in his recliner. The dogs knew. They all jumped up there with him and laid on his lap to help keep him extra warm and wouldn't get up.
The dogs let me know. I then checked his temp and sure enough it was a little high.
He also just had surgery for carpal tunnel in both hands. They did one hand at a time. The doctor wants him doing more hand exercises with the hand that's already healed. So the dogs like to nudge that hand to make him pet them! And it helps exercise that hand which is good so he can get full function back. Now we are waiting for his other hand to heal. He just had surgery in the other last Friday.
I have high blood pressure and anxiety. The dogs can tell when my blood pressure is up and Im not feeling well. They will come lick my face and not leave my side. I'll check my blood pressure and sure enough it's usually high.
The dogs help keep us active and moving and healthy in more ways than just one! I am forever grateful for this!!!
