**HUGE** shout out to our veterinary support specialist, Gwyn, who completed her veterinary receptionist certification of excellence training!! This is a rigorous course with over 40hrs of continuing education. This certification equips her to provide the best possible client experience!

**Just a REMINDER from all these cuties, if you're pet gets STRESSED or ANXIOUS, fearful of loud noises, NOW is the time to call us and get some anti-anxiety medication to help them relax** 🎆🎇💥

We will not be able to fill meds with less than 24hr notice. **Please keep those furry pets safe and fear free this 4th of July holiday!** 🇺🇲

ALSO, we will be closed on July 4th for the holiday but will be open Friday, July 5th, normal business hours!

Some of Zia Mobile Vet staff are going to make a trip to give supplies/donations on SATURDAY, JUNE 22ND. We are working on a list of items requested, ranging from toiletries to board games to pet supplies. We will post later on with a specific list but any supplies would be appreciated!!

**We will be accepting donations **DURING BUSINESS HOURS** at our current location - If you want to donate items, please bring them by 5pm on Friday so we can load it all up in prep for the trek early on Saturday ❤️

Today, April 23rd, is the first-ever **National Parvo Awareness day!** 🐶🐩🐕

Parvovirus is a very contagious viral infection spread by both wild and domestic dogs that can be FATAL to unvaccinated puppies! Symptoms can vary from mild stomach upset to complete anorexia with vomiting/diarrhea.

**Puppies start their vaccine series between 6-8 weeks of age and get boostered every 3 weeks until they are at least 16 weeks old. Please reach out if you have any questions or if you have a puppy that needs to be vaccinated! Spread the word, not the bug! 🦠

Ma*****na is TOXIC to pets! This includes secondhand exposure, ingestion of raw material, and even exposure to the remaining ashes can cause symptoms in our furry friends! These symptoms can range from abnormal stumbling and inappropriate urination, to even coma and death! Please be cautious and aware 🐶🐈‍⬛🙏

All heartworm tests are discounted for the month of April! Normally, these tests are $40 each, but are on sale for $25, this month ONLY! Our pets do not show any symptoms of this deadly infection until they are exhibiting signs of heart failure! All it takes is one chew once a month to prevent!
