Almost ready for finish! Through mortise and tenon joinery to really pin this together and nice 5/4” bench tops. Going to be really nice! Really love the ray-fleck in the white oak stretchers!

Current shop project:
Dining Table Benches
Two 6' long benches being made from White Oak for the seating space and using Red Oak for the legs. Stretcher between the legs is 2" square white oak and will be a "through tenon" that will be secured with a Wedged Pin to draw the joint tight as well as add a pleasing visual appeal to the bench ends. Lower sections will be painted white to match the dining table already made and delivered earlier this year and the top seating space will be colored and clear-coated to match, as closely as possible, the dining table.
