“Hidden Silver” is a 15h gray 2018 thoroughbred gelding.
Silver is born out of 2005 Thoroughbred mare “From Gray To Gold” and by 2006 Thoroughbred stallion “Hidden Blessing.”

Silver would be best for an intermediate rider as he is more go than woah. Silver was in training from November of 2021 to March 2022, unfortunately Silver sat from March to August, due to this he’s been working on basic groundwork and working up to being ridden again. He walks and trots nicely on the lunge line, he’s can stop on command pretty good as well.

Silver tends to be a bit more “spooky.” As he throws his head a bit when he doesn’t like something. He is a great horse and it would be great if he goes to a place where he could be shown, he has potential.

Ned is a super kind kids pony with the looks to match. He is currently ridden by a 9 year old girl who adores him and has great fun on him.
He is extremely honest and takes everything in his stride.
Loves to hack out and explore the forestry both alone and in company.
Always looks after his rider. He is well able to ride on for a competent jockey but will also step down a gear for a weaker rider.

Ned is also a top notch driving pony. He has an impeccable step and never shys from anything.

“RAMBO”

1998 Percheron x Arabian 14.2 hh Gelding

The time has come for this little unicorn to find his forever home!

Rambo’s story finally has an update! You may recall this is the little horse that had a rendezvous out of the backcountry last winter with myself, the RCMP, and some kind hearted hikers. Rambo was taken in by High Point Equestrian Centre and a team of sponsors came together to assist in his care. He received some very much needed veterinary care and TLC for 6 weeks during the nastiest cold snap we’ve seen in a long time!

Rambo was returned to his owners and remained in their care for several months. In the spring his owners contacted me to assist in rehoming Rambo - of course I agreed!

Team Rambo was reassembled and many horsemen and women donated their services to get Rambo on track again. Once Rambo’s ownership was transferred he moved to a local ranch for castration and some TLC! He recovered very well and has been in professional training with Carleigh Jensan for the past 60 days. Although Rambo is older, I wanted to give him the best chance possible to find a loving home.

At Carleigh’s Rambo has been busy learning how to become a solid citizen and most importantly - a gelding! After being isolated in the backcountry for his entire life Rambo has needed time to learn the basics of “how to horse”. This training focused extensively on groundwork with an introduction to under saddle work. He was also introduced to working and living beside herd mates in paddock and pasture scenarios.

Rambo has made a lot of progress and Carleigh and I feel it is time to find him his forever home!

Rambo is an exceptionally fun horse to work with at liberty and would be an ideal fit for someone wanting to expand their horsemanship in this area. He is also ready to continue backing and would be an uncomplicated project. As Rambo has spent most of his life roaming the backcountry, he is a sure-footed and eager horse on the trail. This stout little guy has a lovely disposition with people and will give his owner so much love in his golden years.

Hickory 💙

Hickory is quite nervous & takes time to get to know you.
He works well with a calm and gentle approach & must not be rushed.

Hickory has weak stifles although improved with pole work, exercises etc. He does pick his feet up but again he cannot hold for long & is unsure still with his hinds.

Sadly Hickory is still quite nervous & can resort to flight mode.
I have been working with Hickory for a year now, but all work is done solely by myself as on a private yard with no helpers. Hickory wears a bridle and roller. We are st a the stage where I need an extra pair of hands to support Hickory to progress in his long reining etc. He was terrified of lunge Lines but we have worked on this.

Hickory is unsure of littler people & this is another reason why I have made the decision to rehome. I cannot trust him as he will approach with his ears back (even when little people are not near him, he is choosing to enter their space)

I have worked on voice commands and actions initially with Hickory as he found this more reassuring.
He can lift is front feet, move back and side ways on command.

Hickory has had his teeth & vaccinations done.
His teeth, sedation and 1st vaccination went perfectly, he took on the task very well and was brave and calm. Sadly when the vet came back for 2nd vaccination Hickory was a completely different pony & the experience wasn't great. We gave him time and he has now had his 2nd vaccination although he was very nervous.

I'm being genuine about Hickory as he is a lovely pony but could easily be misunderstood, he must not be rushed & will need time and understanding. He is still nervous at times.

He is a handsome chap that needs a home where he can be progressed but not rushed.

Khaleesi has just turned 5. she is currently out out work (only by a couple of weeks due to weather) but don’t let this fool you. she had 11 months off before coming to me. she had 2 rides here, and her third ride we took her out to abby longs to have a play where she did not put a foot wrong. no spooky ness. no hotness. she only popped over a few jumps. not a lot as she was only 4. she does need a bit of encouraging but she just wasn’t sure what was asked of. she has 4 beautiful paces. she’s not hot, but she can get up and go if asked. she does have a beautiful soft snaffle mouth, she has the most beautiful hooves, solid as anything. (will upload photos) and has clean straight legs. she is coming up due for her teeth, but she is fab to worm, cover, she is great to gear up but she can be a bit busy on the ground and can be anxious if you’re rushing around with her.
she can be ridden by herself but SHE WILL NOT TOLERATE being by herself. she must be paddocked with someone. great to take away for a ride though.
she is currently uncovered.
she is not a beginners horse, and needs an experienced rider to bring the best out of her as she can be timid. she isn’t hard to catch but can be unsure until she gets to know you. she is quick with her feet. i’m saying that, she will not quick. but she picks them up incredibly fast and can catch you off guard if you aren’t aware with it. not nasty, that’s just her. she isn’t a typical moody mare. and not the boss in the paddock either. great doer. was hardfed thru winter but now on grass and hay twice a day.
she is great to load, but she can take a couple mins to load if she’s in one of her moods where she is in la la land. just her baby brain.

she is only just starting to figure out a contact, which she has adjusted to super well. but does not know flying lead changes as of yet.

He is a 7 year old TB gelding by Showcasing out of the O’Reilly mare Fudge. EMH 15-15.1HH. Jonny has just retired fit and sound from his racing career and is ready for his next stage in life, he could be suited to a range of careers, we think he will make a cool nippy jumper for someone, or perhaps a fun eventer. He has done some jumping at the track where he showed nice natural style. We have also found him an extremely good doer. Jonny is a stable favourite, he is full of character with the most kind and gentle nature. Bought for an experienced teenager but Maggie is too much horse so because of that only being sold to an experienced adult or a confident teenager or as a brood mare.
Been at Pony club and everyone who has ridden or seen her has commented on what an amazing, kind horse she is and the potential she has.
Maggie can go very far with the right rider.
Green horse, that is good on hack and at the beach. Been introduced to jumps but needs a rider to give her confidence and push her to her potential, has amazing scope and will be an amazing eventer as she is very stocky for a thourobread.
Has only been floated twice with us, takes a couple tries but she gets there.
Maggie is a loving, kind horse that will be an incredible ride with the right, confident and strong rider.
Will only being going to the best of homes as this is a very reluctant sale.
