Hello everyone! 💜 I just wanted to make a PSA here on my business page.

First off, I want to thank my existing clients for their patience. Since approximately Christmas week, I have been severely affected by unforeseen recovery complications to the point that I was physically unable to work in any capacity (including communications/text/messages 🥲). I’d rather not go into too many personal details here, but this inattentiveness was not by personal choice. The hard work that I’ve been doing to heal an autonomic nervous system injury finally caught up with my body, and it forced a “hard reboot” of sorts. I can’t figure out a way to accurately describe this and still retain my medical privacy, so please trust when I say that it was a legitimately physical medical event. The last few weeks have been rough.

I am happy to say that I’ve regained a semblance of functioning and am able to start booking very short days again. I started replying to texts and Facebook messages this evening, and my goal is to have finished reaching out to everyone by sometime tomorrow. Health-wise, I’m doing all right at the moment; mainly tired still and overwhelmed by the things that piled up to do. I appreciate your continued patience as I work to catch up. Full days will resume whenever I feel physically ready to handle them.

Candidly, this whole period has been extremely difficult for me, even though I’m confident that I’m coming out of it healthier and more whole. I’m looking forward to seeing you all and starting work again - I’ve dearly missed it.

Looking so clean and sharp, Lily! 🤩

🐕‍🦺 In general, breeds like cavaliers and cocker spaniels have thick coats that can become greasy. I customize my bathing routine to each individual pet. This baby wasn’t too oily, but knowing her breed, I wanted to get her fully clean while keeping her skin moisturized. She was SO soft afterwards, like a stuffed animal! 🐻

This year, I’m so thankful for all of my clients that have made Doctor Groom possible. 💜 To the handful that have been here from day one… and the many others I’ve met along the way.

When I get to do your new puppy’s first groom (is Juniper not the cutest?!) my heart grows three sizes. 🥰 Setting a positive foundation is SO important, and I love that mobile grooming makes it so easy to keep things stress-free.

💜 When did Manerva start LOVING her spa time 🥺 This family was one of my first clients when I started from scratch a year ago — they have supported me from Day #1. 🥰 Manerva was always a good, but a bit tense in the salon environment. Over the last year, she’s relaxed enough that the entire session is bliss!

😄 Far from tolerating, she actually ENJOYS each second of the bath and blowout. Mobile really is magic, y’all.

I love hairshaming. 😂 It varies by dog, but often what I brush out is only 1/3 of their shed undercoat. So much of the hair comes out during the rinse and dry!

Ecko the Aussie mix was struggling with skin flakiness and rough coat when I first met her. 💕 I’ve been SO happy to see her improvement in just a few grooms! Her fur is soft to the touch, and she is so much comfier 💇🏻‍♀️
